Like the last part of the video. The bit about being neurons of a collective experience on the internet is a bit disturbing. We're not meant to be the brain of gaia or plugged into computers. That kinda line of thinking removes self identity and smacks of socialist extremes on par with the fictional "borg" species of scifi. We must be globally aware yes but remain unique with the richness this exsistence deserves and which only collective fair competition can provide.

I watch CNN live right now, oil still gushing out from the broken riser pipe as black as ever. What's even worse, the hurricane season is about to begin. In fact Guatemala is already hit by a tropical storm. This is going to be an epic disaster affecting the whole globe. The only thing we can do is to hope for the best.
