@MidnightSundowns Muscle has deteriorated to the point it isn't noticeable now. There's pretty much no calf muscle left on my left leg and the right is following suit. I've come to realize this has all been due to my diabetes and is called diabetic neuropathy - Please don't take my information as fact since we are all different and if you have something similar it may not be the same cause. Please see your doctor(s).
You might not be getting enough of certain, needed minerals... Try getting more salt or some vitamins. I'm not a doctor, you may just want to check it out.
@davenroc1 I agree 100% - I'm so sick of prescription meds - I've started taking more vitamins and they seem to have helped somewhat - the twictching isn't as bad but then again most of my calve muscle is gone now from the diabetes so not sure if it's slightly better or just not enough muscle left to notice any longer.
I get tons of leg arm etc spasm twitches but not cramps but I usest to get em, there are several solutions, the easiest one is to drink alots and alots of water!
Damn bro!! Spit on ur cramps, I know it sounds nasty and dumb but it kinda helps me. After spiting on ur cramps get some SALT and rub it on ur cramps with the saliva. This will hurt but it might help tie the area affected by cramps quickly with a piece of cloth tighly it automatically goes away (HOPEFULLY).
did this get better over time? I have something similar in my calf although not as intense as yours I do find it uncomfortable. For me the symptoms seem to get better and worse on some random schedule. Did you find out any more specific information that helps you?
Man I feel bad for you... But wait, I mean, is that it? Meaning, this is how your left calf is going to be for the rest of your life without any stopping at all? How do you focus during the day? Can you ignore it at work and in leisure time? Damn, I get some twitching here and there and it always makes me react hard, this would drive me to ask my Doc to just amputate if it were me. I wouldn't be able to take it.
Was the nerve damage to your spine by any chance? I had a back surgery that may have damaged my nerve root, docs unsure if that is the sole cause or it is related to my diabetes, or a combination of both.
I get that same thing with my chest, i was diagnosed with nerve damage from an injury to my temple. yours look way more intense, i hope you and your doc can find a treatment that works for you.
Hey how long has this been happening? My boyfriends calf's do the same thing. Except for the painful cramps. His muscles just twitch non stop.

Go see a doctor now. This is the most extreme cramping I've ever seen. You might have some kind of nerve damage.

Cramps are the direct result of a lack of calcium. Pregnant women get them often since a substantial amount of nutrients is taken in by the baby.
Milk in the morning, milk before bed. And cycling or calf raises to strengthen the muscles themselves.
