After watching this episode I tried out LiLi USB Creator and it is now one of the most used programs on my computer. I have been able to try out Gentoo, ArchLinux, Ophcrack, Puppy Linux, Fedora, Mint, and a bunch of other distros that I would have never even heard about if it wasn't for LiLi USB Creator.

Why not run dumpcap or tshark on your "interceptor"? dumpcap -> named pipe -> ssh or netcat -> (network) -> ssh or netcat tunnel listening on your end -> another named pipe -> wireshark or logfile. Then you basically have arbitrary access as though it were local.
