  • That looks great! If you made two and placed them in front of each other, you could reverse the direction of one and really make people dizzy!

  • It was one sheet per circle. I can't find my plans for the circles but I think it was around 9ft in diameter and about 8 sections. I utilized every bit of the 4X8 plywood to make one circle. The geometry to find the circumference is pie x Diameter.

  • hey man, how hard was it to find the arc needed to make the circle? how many sheets of 4x8 plywood did you use?

  • a dryer motor! i just got a new dryer... the old one still runs... SCORE! 5stars!

  • one more question howdo you use a dryer motor

  • We used an old bike wheel and gears to get the right speed for the tunnel. To see the finished product go to search my ID kylekayj or go to "vortex tunnel halloween 2008"

  • k 1 how tall is it 2 how did you put it together 3 how much money did it cost

and 4 that is pretty awesome

  • The Diameter was 9 feet the max to fit in the garage and it was 16 feet long (two 8 foot sections) The rings were cut out of 3 4x8 pieces of paticle board. I cut the rings in to 7 sections and then doubled them up to create the circle. Had to break open the high school geometry for that. The rings are conected using 1x2 and they sat on some handtruck wheel rims that we mounted on some 2x4. Costs were small because we used mostly scrap wood. The Bridge was 18 feet long and cost the most.
