That is kind of interesting how there is such a different reaction when a third party is profiting than when the woman in question is profiting. I think it kind of goes back to the idea that women's bodies are male property, therefore they wouldn't want us profiting off of them any more than plantation owners wanted to share crop proceeds.

I think it's only ok for a woman to bring money in using her body if someone else is making money from it, i.e. marketing, according to mainstream society.

That's one of the reasons I think people have such a problem with sex workers (not that Miss USA is one).
