i'm confused as i thought mac (ie: imovie) doesn't work with acvhd codec .... so, did you for transcode it into something mac/imovie works with and then edit or is there some setting within the camera which allows you to capture as either a .mov or in h264.
@brooks718 Well, the video files on my camera just imported .mov files, although I know that there are Canon camcorders that import into the acvhd codec format. I used this instructional video the first time I uploaded videos to my computer, and it's pretty straightforward (look up the username chelloplayer128). What kind of Canon camcorder do you have?
some people can make really good looking videos and other people cannot with the same camera. I am afraid I will be the one who cannot make good video.
wow the color correction on this is amazing... what software did you use, and would you tell me if you used a preset or the settings you used... thanks
@JRK9Training As I've mentioned in the description, I only used iMovie. Changed up the color scheme, overlapped a letterbox image onto it, and exported it into 1080p. It's very, very simple.
@DesmosediciAlice Wow. I'm waaaay too late to respond to this question. I'm assuming you've got it answered though, based on that video you recently uploaded. xD

@Relentt2008 Actually, my camera lens got wet from the rain that day, but I wasn't that upset. In fact, I didn't really care, it wasn't so bad, haha.
