awwh i have a german shorthaired pointer. she's 6 years old and doesnt work but she loves a good cuddle, i think gsp's are one of the best breeds of dog because they are allrounders. They can do anything you want them to :)

@danway04 i know how you feel ive lost 3 gsp's to speeding cars and im only 15 but i see dogs come and go cuz my grandma breeds gsp's and there amazing dogs but if u dont run them or train them there gunna run its in there nature

Mela looks so much like my Gabby. They are awesome dogs. The best friend you could have and a great hunter at the same time. They live to please. I'll never own another breed. Mela and Gabby have the same face and build. Gabby has a heart shape liver patch on her side. That's how I knew it wasn't her on your video. My neighbor has a liver dog. You can see the tick patch in the light like a Black Panther. I enjoyed your video. Thanks!

That was the greatest slide show !! I was given a beautiful GERMAN POINTER . I had never heard of the breed before. Our family is so happy with him. I have never had a dog make me laugh and bring so much joy. What energy and dedication. Your doggies are awesome !!!!!

My GSP is called Charlie Brown, with a Liver head, saddle and patches and the rest is ticked white and liver. He is so intelligent and agile, can jump about 4-5 fett from a standing start!! So loving and sticks to me everywhere, so I call him Velcro. Love GSPs more than any other dog, well about the same as my old Weimaraner, Steinie, who we lost last year, bless him. TRhe germans sure do produce beautiful dogs.

When I was 16 I found a stray GSP on my birthday. I began dating Ivan that year. He came to meet the family. Guess what. It was his GSP he got for his birthday, but ran away. We were married 3 years later. Cool huh! We had Eric for 14 years. I now have another GSP that I rescued from a shelter. His name is Magic. They are the BEST dogs! Good indoors, wih kids, and other pets. Super smart and loyal! Magic protects my hamsters like they were his babies. Nice video!

Thanks to my father we had two GSP pointers when I was a child and they were unforgettable. Now I have a 7 year old I got from a rescue group in NY whenhe and all my children talk about is getting GSps of their own. Everyone loves DeNiro and I am sure sure all GSps have a good spirit because everyone thats around them smiles

GSP's are indeed great hunters and great companions. However...they are also great sled dogs!! Harness even one or two to a bike or cross country skis...and you will go galloping past the Siberian Huskies as if they are standing still. Most modern racing sled dogs have at least some pointer in the breeding profile.

lol, I used to take my GSP 'Dog Scootering'. I'd hook her leash up to my scooter, and she'd pull me around. Shes the best dog I could ask for. They're a great breed.
