The biggest thing wrong with the anime I heard was noin's partner or w/e. It was different in the manga right? Started to read it once, but never got started... It's pretty short though IIRC. Especially compared to the anime.

i love this anime! i like the first part a little better than the second, though. before maron had a... power up? or something. the ribbon and uber long transformation sequence reminded me a little too much of sailor moon.

Anime is okay as long as it stays true to the manga, which in some cases tragically anime sometimes won't do that. But manga is where the REAL story comes from, straight from the mangaka who draws it. The anime of Jeanne is well done however if you're insulting the manga of Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne (which is ten times better than the anime if I may say so) then you're insulting Arina Tanemura the creator of Kamikaze Kaito Jeane. >D

Some anime do not have manga and don't get them until afterward. (like fooly Cooly, manga wasn't so good.) But others like this the manga is actually better than the anime. Also manga won't become anime until its known. It wouldn't make sense to spend a lot of money on anime that people won't watch...

But I think anime is better than manga. Why? It's more fun to WATCH the action than it is to read about it and see comicbook image frames showing stills of the action. That SUCKS BAD! If there's gonna be a battle scene it better be animated or I don't care about it. So the only good Japanese cartoons are the animated ones (manga sucks because MOST of the action has to be imagined, and for an action movie fan I MUCH rather WATCH the action), and the only good animes are ones that involve battles.

Any any anime that's good (there's NO such thing as a good manga) is an anime that has lots of battles. Gundam, Evangelion, Dragonball Z, Inuyasha, and even some of the more "girl" animes like Sailor Moon and Mew Mew Power are good because they have action and battles. But animes that have just human interest such as Love Hina (which by its name you can tell is OBVIOUSLY a stupid love story) are VERY SUCKY animes.

And for a manga you need to have imagination, yes, you just said a lot about yourself.

Actually why read manga, just watch the WHOLE anime, OR read the WHOLE manga. You make it sound like the show isn't understandable until the manga has been read. But I said "OR" because the anime is the TV show version OF the manga. So one you watch, the other you read, but both are Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne, so what you learn of the plot in one you should be able to in the other medium as well. Just you view them in different ways, one is read, the other watched.

There are times when Anime takes things out of the plot or add things in. So there are times when its best to read the manga BEFORE the anime. Like Shugo Chara for example..the company would take things out or take things out and put it in a later.

Ex.(the example didn't actually happened)

MANGA:Main character of Shugo Chara Amu gets a teddy bear from Ikuto in the

1st chapter

ANIME:Amu gets the teddy bear in episode 4 instead of 1.

I think the anime (made of the original manga made by Arina Tanemura) is nothing compared to the manga. The relationships are much more important in the original version and gotta say that the anime is just too long! Also Silk doesn't show up at all in anime, there's only the odd girl-thingy... I support KKJ-manga!
