funny how people dont know shit about the components and the value to this bike.. all they can say is people have their heads up their asses for what they pay for it..
I like the simple elegant hardtail frames from Cannondale, I'm not a fan of buttresses & fancy hydroformed shapes.
As for the price of a really expensive carbon bike but I honestly couldn't justify it, but I certainly would love to have one. I would buy (again) a good aluminium hardtail with components as good as I could afford, a good bike is worth it if you love riding.
The claimed weight of 16.5 lbs is BULLSHIT. That weight is with no pedals and you can't ride a bike with not pedals. That's like trying to show off the weight of a super light car but that weight is with no fuel in the gas tank, totally misleading. Bike weight needs to include pedals or it's false advertisement.
hopefully we should see a drop in price in cycling components. I mean come on we should be encouraging people to cycle and maing the sport more affordable. look at the amount of materials used to manafacture these bikes. there all puny. im hoping the same thing will happen in the cycling industry as the computer industry as we saw a massive drop in he price of pc compopnents after 1998 period era. come on make this great sport more afforadble to the masses and cut pollution
That 16.5 pounds in bullshit. It has no pedals on it and you can't ride a bike with no pedals. Also this bike is way overpriced at 9000 dollars. The next one they have in the lineup the carbon flash 1 has almost the same setup with shimano xtr instead of the new sram xx component group for only 6400 hundred.
@traingp7 It might sound alot but It if you buy a flash 1 and decide that you want to upgrade later, well It'd cost you alot more, but sram are doing a 2x10, in Xo, X9 and X7, I'm going to save up for the complement x7 as it will probably be the best value
ok, yeah, that is a proper mental amount of cash - bearing in mind it's probably made in Taiwan. But, hey, you aint gonna pass to many of them coming the other way. Mr high roller/smug barsted! Fair play if you buy one... who the hell wouldn't want that hanging in the garage...

Awesome bike. Awesome fork. Better than this one, only the Scalpel.

Buy all the parts individually for half the price, if you know how to build a bike it works out cheaper.

You don't have to lock this bike down if you're going into the shop, because they will steal it before you can even stop moving.

Another reason why it is so light is because it runs the lightest semislicks in the world. Each tire is 290g

10,000 dollars, and that's not including taxes.
If you buy one, there better be a few trophies on your garage within a year.
