I got to see it went i went to Disneyland a year or two ago. Their sound technician was horrible...the vocals sounded terrible by the way they were miked.

Well it's the stage adaptation. Even though it's based on the movie, it doesn't literally have to be exact. It's a 90 minute animated feature squeezed into a 30 minute theme park show. The heart box was only really necessary to show the queen and give proof to the mirror of Snow White's death. That scene is really not needed and thus moves the pace and story more forward and quickly.
