I cannot believe in a time of recession, the government introduced such a ridiculous law. If they want to put time and energy into something important, they could have given complete civil rights to the LGBT community and not this ridiculous civil marraige shite!
Is Ireland ready for a group of Muslims or Wiccans to step forward and sue the Catholic church in Ireland for continually bad-mouthing them and telling lies about their religions? I can't wait.
Even though I had a little trouble understanding everything you said, I think you got your point across. I thought your accent coupled with the blasphemy was great. WIN! WIN!
Fock the fother, son, and holy ghost; go Irish! LOL
My family, on my mother's side, is from Gallway Bay. They moved from Ireland to England during the Potato Famine. My great-grandfather pulled his teeth with priers. My grandfather was a coal miner. Their faith sustained them. I was born in England, with a heavy influence about my Irish background. The only thing you've won is a demonstration of your ignorance.
Well seems you don't follow the goings on here in Ireland, a €100,000 fine for blasphemy, also seems faith let them down and through their own surival instincts did they have to leave the country, and both my grandparents from my mother's side game from near Tuam also they had to move to Birmingham. Please goto atheist-ie for more info, I will ignore your ironic comment.
'Reply was meant for a0eoj. Does Ireland actually enforce such a ludicrous fine, or is it just a matter of principle that the archaic fine shouldn't exist?
The same faith sustained the largest network of molesters, rapists & murderers Ireland has ever known. If any other organization did what that "faith" did & still does it would've been proscribed like the IRA. Fair play to your ancestors for coping with the famine, mining and pulling their own teeth but it was pure human balls that saw them through though I'm sure faith helped make sense of all the hardship. Look to modern Ireland not it's false & rosy history to see what our old faith has done.
There is nothing wrong with antagonistic atheism, just so long as the author of the presentation above retains his Catholicism, while acknowledging the primacy of the Church of England. After all, it is commonly known that genetically, the Irish are degreased Italians.

I love irish people, but damn, that sucks. €100,000 is €100,000 too much for blasphemy.
