why didn't pit use his shield at the start of the match? Its very helpful since it can reflect projectiles and reverse opponent's direction at a certain time. Especially when toon link keeps throwing things at him. that would have made it much easier for him.

the problem with this guy's pit was that all he knew how to do was camp and use projectiles, toon link dominated his ass because toon link knew how to use his projectiles and also go offensive, where as this noob pit was always use to being the top on the abusing projectile list and never needed to go offensive but right now as you can see when he goes offense, his tactics sucks.

It happens because of the nerfed hitstun. This makes it nearly impossible to combo. That's why this game contains a lot of camping.

If the stage had been battlefield or something smaller, I don't think that amir would have been able to spam arrows as efectively. At any rate, DSF did a nice job of taking care of this guy.

i think mew2king had a similar playing style with fox. like he ran away and shot his laser gun until it accumulated a certain percentage and then he went in for a combo. but for brawl, you gotta be really really gay if you wana win :)

a player that knows what they are doing will beat a spammer, but this game just came out. its also been dumbed down so you dont have to sweetspot to grab a ledge, and rolling appears to send you over a farther distance. basically the simple shit has been buffed so its harder to punish.

from my experience, a player that knows what they're doing will not lose to a spammer or someone who uses only a few moves. one has to learn how to get around players that spam/roll. and i can't believe that guy said it is brawl's fault that Champ spams arrows. how the hell is it brawl's fault?

throwing all those arrows takes ability and training? LOL. pushing b is not that hard, and rolling is a panic move so its not all that strategic sniffel. and short hop laser is way more effort than having to sit there and push b. once people figure out spacing i hope rolling gets punished a lot more.

hmmm finals consist of a known melee pro and this scrub. In order to get into the grand finals of a brawl tournament you select Pit, roll constantly till you are far away and press b over and over again. When they get close u repeat the rolls until you are safe then B. Now I know, I'll be on my way to pro in no time.

u can't argue about pit's arrow spamming, if u do, you need to play a bit more brawl. k.

Besides, ppl would spam falco's b move in melee... (yes, that of course was used to get close and what not, but it can be applied here as well)

pit did make some mistakes though, and i think toon link carried out his attacks a bit better.

To get through a Pit arrow spammer, do a couple "wavedashes"... Note the apostrophes... Try it, it works...
