if ur just growing 1 or 2 plants in ur closet all that ventilation equipment isnt neccesary... just opening the door to check on ur plant a couple times a day is enough

Don't add sawdust. What do you mean it helps the moisture? Like retaining water I assume. Just go to a garden store and buy any number of water retaining substrate for cheap if you want to help moisture. Why? Because sawdust may be from treated wood, and will also affect the pH level of the soil, especially pine saw dust. Stuff you buy is neutral and clean.
