i think that is by far the best driving position ive ever seen,,, just bought this gtr evo, race on, and the G27 racing wheel,, and from your vid this is heaven,, cant wait to learn to race properly in these games,, love the way you have learnt the track WOOOt roll on tomorrow when the wheel arrives!!! oh and are there any other new racing sims coming that i should look forward to?? like F1? etc - thanks - Jon

OK - I've had the expected sarcastic and abusive replies to my comment, but if PCs are so much more powerful than consoles, why can't the graphics AND the physics be superior?

Nobody in their right mind would say that a PC sim with great physics AND great graphics isn't what they'd like to see/play!

One of the reasons I prefere PCs is that you can not control motion simulator platforms with game consoles. As for those who have slow or inconsistent performance with PC make sure your hardware is at or above what is recommended to run the sim programs. Also you should remove from your hardrive any other programs you dont need because they may be running processes in the background.

Game consoles are widely preferred because of the available cars (that you can modify) tracks and locations that are offered. You also don't have to maintain consoles but when it comes to input and output device expansion you cant beat PCs.

Agreed! I'm new to sim racing on my PC, and I'd always thought that PCs were supposed to be FAR more powerful than consoles!

I know you can tweak settings and stuff, but my PC isn't slow, and none of my SimBin titles look or run remotely well!

Any tips? (*awaits the sarcasm and abuse that will now, no doubt follow...*)

In deed pc games such as this should be a lot better in terms of graphics, but then that's not what a simulator is all about. Pc sims are meant to emulate reality in terms of physics rather than graphics. If you prefer great graphics rather than great physics then console games is what you want.

I run EVO and RACE ON maxed at 1080p level2 AA.

Simbin's engine does look a little flat and isn't cutting edge, but after playing for a long time you start to appreciate the understated realism. It's possible to make driving games really 'awesome' with over the top bloom and effects etc, but these have more to do with '2 fast 2 furious' than a real driving experience. Also sims on pc have nothing like the budget of stuff like 'dirt.' If you want fancy graphics those titles can be found on pc, with much higher detail and frame rates

The engine sounds appear to have more bass and realism in than the sounds on Race Driver Grid,..

Might buy this and sell RDG,.. (plus too many cheats in RDG too sadly), hope there's none or VERY few in this,.... Anyway,. I digress,. great vid - thanks for posting. ^_^

Of course you can! It runs on my PC that has 3.06 GHz, 512 MB RAM, ATI Raden 9800 Pro 256 MB.

the dissapearing wiper may be caused by the seat position..not sure about it.
