    Mark

  • one of my favorite banjo pickers. which reminds me i Gotta start back practicing mine

  • J.D. is playing a Blackjack banjo. Wonderful instrument...I own one signed by the master himself!

  • That is just beautiful!

  • Doesnt matter.....he just said woops and i couldnt hear a mistake there so i wondered

  • @Snufkin091 I think it is a misplaced note. Reno noticed it and that is when J. D. said "ooops" J. D., more or less, plays this song just like Earl Scruggs plays it on "Foggy Mountain Banjo". When you hear old Earl(including videos here on YouTube-type in Flatt and Scruggs Home Sweet Home and click on Ain't Gonna Work Tomorrow) he had his own sound and tone just as Don Reno did. Today nobody sounds like old Earl and Don Reno. J. D. Crowe comes close to Earl's style and tone though and I like him

  • @boblackey1 no i agree he is one of the best. was reading JD's article in the banjo mag this month very interesting. talks about hes pre war banjo.....which isnt in this vid?

  • did JD make a mistake?

  • @Snufkin091 Where? And even if he did, does it matter?

  • Thats the Rich And Taylor Jd Crowe Model DELUXE!

  • Damn where is the 75!!!!!!!!

  • @BATENKILL hahaha he can make any banjo sound good! haha

  • Sounds just like JD even without his Granada!
