It's so odd to see the keyboard/singer with his back to the audience while singing. Funny, i've heard of these guys for years yet know nothing about them. What are they best known for ?

I think it may be just the way his baby grand piano is set up or camera angle to the view. Phish has,for the most part,stayed out of the main spotlight and radio play,they prefer it that way.They are probably best known for their live act and festivals,and the music they play is structured around improvisation,open end jamming,kind of like the grateful dead ,yet with a very different style.

@robi2000 improvisation. But they have settled down and more refined these days. In their hey-day this would have been sandwiched between two sections of the same song. Have you gotten into them yet?
