The same Beethoven medley intro my high school (yeah... HS) marched in Fall 2001. Such a fun show. And at festival we had the advantage of a huge thunderhead rolling in during the show. Nothing like Beethoven's Fifth with the drumline accompanied by mother nature lol.

If you need to choose an instrument to play in band, PLAY TROMBONE! I know it seems like a big, annoying, heavy instrument, but it's actually pretty easy to play. I'm 15 and have played since i was 12. trombone rocks! go dawgs!

I was actually there for this practice. They are loud...but that's about it. And wereallbroken14 said "at least they can spell." Well I'm pretty sure that there is no 'a' nor 'w' in the word 'dog'. And the GSU scramble is much more impresive than that any way.

there is a trumpet that sticks out at the beginning and some in the middle and a tuba splats in there at the beginning too. i am allowed to be a little more critical, i'm in that tuba section

I was able to see this performance in Jacksonville this year during the GA v FLA halftime show and it was one of their best performances I've seen. To any Redcoats out there, ya'll really do a fantastic job playing those songs we all love so dearly. Every time I hear the battle hymn I get chills down my spine. Without the Redcoats, it wouldn't be GA football. Keep up the good work, and Go DAWGS!
