First off hello to all. Ok i will make this short, I never used active speakers In my life LOL. I always used amps and so on. How many speakers can i link up ? say if i used four or more will It work Let me know how it works and how many can I use ?
guys if you are deciding to spend 400 bucks buy these on ebay they come with stands 2 20 foot xlr cables stand covers and two in the pack. BTW the speakers are sick even at 30% they really to the job indoors they actually do great outdoors they are good but they do only work short range outside. bass is better than anything near it
Great vid, I have the GX-1501 speakers which of course is 15" subs, but my question is on the clip light, if ur running them at a certain level and the clip light barely comes on is that ok or like u said it should not even come on at all when running. oh yeah great speakers by the way i love mine they are awesome.
J, I have two GX-1501 speakers. To connect the two speakers to my mixer I've been inserting one end of a tandem line cable to each speaker and then to the mixer. (For example: the white cable of one speaker input to the mixer and the red a cable of another speaker input to the mixer). I really don't feel this could possible be the correct way to connect these, so please get back to me. Thanks!
hey u need to get 2 rca single (male) to rca double (female)
so you plug the 2 rca single (male) in the red and white or rca output on the mixer. basicaally you get the red and white from both speakers and you will have 4 places to put them and you will get the full sound. your welcome LOL
need someones opinion. are these entry level speakers? like i can use these at gigs and not have a problem, gemini kinda has a bad name so im wonderring.
i would say yes. but i think it mostly depends on the environment. If the gig is inside or in a small amount of space. the speakers would do good. but i once gigged outside and the speakers didn't sound loud enough so i kept turning them up. and soon enough i blew a speaker.
Hi ,can u tell me if these speakers are as good as mackie priced at £345 or gemini priced at £145,will use them with bass bins i play in a band crowd can be 50 to 200,dont want to waste money just to have a brand name, any advice would be helpfull, thanks
which would you prefer - powered speakers or separate poweramp & passive speakers? Is there any difference in performance, or is it down to just personal preference?
Tip: it would be a good idea to set the treble and bass knobs on the speaker at 0 db or 12 o' clock position if you will be using a mixer because in most cases the DJ will increasing or decreasing the trable and bass from the mixer as needed whil in the mix..
ok so i have 2 powered speakers with two dials on the back (i gues one is for treb and one is for bass?) if i got one of these speakers and turned the treb all the way down and the bass all the way up would it act as a passive crossover system?
It makes having Induction Elements a bitch to have , and that 90 second to boil thing is a bit higher if you use the dual 120 volt one (Why the fuck am I ranting about Kitchen appliances, I must be turning into a bitch, or maybe i'm hungry)

Put on the Closed Captioning that transcribes the audio.
It becomes a story of murder and politics.

It should be fine for the clip light to come on occasionally. As long as it's not constant you should be in no danger.

DIZZYBANG 3 years ago
not really , all you would do is cut off a lot of the high and mid and end up with just a muffled bass sound.

so if i set me speakers i have now to play the high and mid and these geminis to play the lows it still would"nt create the full sound?
