  • still you must say she is quite strong!

  • What is crossfit that everyone keeps talking about?

  • sexy

  • Could have added another 20 pounds with better form

  • Can't negative deadlift it back to the ground quietly... Are you saving up to another heavier set? Lol doubt it.

  • not very good for a sumo at all, it's crossfit what do you expect though ugh

  • If I was behind her. I wouldn't let go if it was going in her. Anyways strange kitchen.

  • Look very painful for the knees, keep it open!

  • Disliked because you dropped it.

  • I was waiting for her spine to snap.

    Next time.

  • Yeah lets almost drop that on your feet....

  • seriously???

  • what the fuck was that

  • that looked like a heavy sandwich

  • the knee angle is all sorts of fck'd.

  • What a strange way to make a sandwich...

  • Her back is now fucked!

  • @milzeh Not necessarily. I`ve done that before without thinking, but with no complications, so far. But, for the most part, i do try to keep good form, but i`ve never been injured. Now, at 5'7 and less than 140 lbs, i can deadlift probably 340 lbs. Tried 345 lbs yesterday, and got it about 2 or 3 inches off the ground, in the sumo deadlift.

  • crossfit is for faggots

  • @brandonreyes No that's bodybouidling, you got 'em confused. If Crossfit is for faggots, what do you call this? lmfao OWNED!!

    youtube.com/watch?v=YWoNIrMYJc8

  • @pchancey007 you sir are an idiot

  • I'd bang.

  • who cares about her form people!! shes hot and shes trying. give her a fucking break!!

  • @manson8866 It's not enough to try if you're sloppy and can't make progression... this is just plain bad form.. She needs to get deadlifted by a dude.

  • @jodakiller132 This form isn't horrible. You're just being a whiny armchair trainer. Strength makes up for bad form. Does it have the potential to cause injury? Yes. Do you need to point out slightly bad form everywhere you see it like a faggot? No.

  • Comment removed

  • @MEELATEHGRIL Yes it bad form, strength does not make up for bad form, and if you know something about how to lift and you want to point out bad form, that does not make you a faggot.

  • @yahnniemeng Obviously those were your original arguments, but you have yet to support them.

  • @yahnniemeng i don't think it makes you a faggot, but i don't think the form was horrible either. there was a little bit of lumbar flexion, but i was honestly expecting way worse. i think she needs to get her hips a little lower if shes going to pull that wide and get way tighter before she tries to break the floor. dropping the bar is shitty etiquette if its an oly bar and fucked up as all get out if its a regular power bar though. someone needs to strengthen their pimp hand bout that shit.

  • im a crossfitter and for tech is everything idiot

  • brawlic

  • Wide stance, feet point forwards...

Legs wide apart, drop the barbell, risk that you drop the bar on your foot...

  • Come on! If you can pick it up you should be able to put it down!

  • COME ON RUDE BOI BOI CAN U GET IT UP?

  • OK OK OK LET'S JUST ADMIT IT SHE IS SO STRONG! WOW!

  • LolitaSupreme.

Couldn't agree more. Finally some one one here knows what the f!!!! They are on about.

  • I have seen guys with belts have more spinal flexxion than she just had.

  • Could have easily dropped all that weight on her foot.

  • Those are tens and she is only lifting it a few inches.

  • @phootie They aren't tens, stupid.

  • @phootie It's called a sumo deadlift, it doesnt move far

  • @BMunich16 I know what it's called cock chops. Doh.

  • @phootie then you would know the range of motion isn't very far, hence the enormous weight people can do...

  • @BMunich16 yes i would know that you fucking tool.

  • @phootie she went for the full lockout....so I'm not sure why you're pointing out that she only went a "few inches"

  • Fucking horrible form. It's cute that you tried, and that you think you know what you're doing. But your "trainer" should be pistol whipped for perpetuating such fucking garbage technique. Until you learn how to actually deadlift, and furthermore, pull sumo, you probably have no business touching anything more than 135 pounds, MAX.

  • @TheSalisburySteak Shut up. You're in no position to tell others what they can lift. She did 255lbs pretty good.

  • @AndyHarglesis dude your a fucking faggot commenting on all these videos spouting your bullshit about steroids. Clearly you dont even have time to workout because all you do is lie and flame on workout videos about your incredible strength. Get a clue.

  • why all the concern over her dropping it? shouldn't there be more worry over her flexing at her Lumbar? It seems to me that is more important than her dropping weights which are meant to be dropped to keep the sport safe.

  • i think we can all agree she would have more success at dead lifting penis into her vagina

  • Strange looking kitchen

  • it's you? that girl?

  • Rounded back and no controlled downward release of the weight...

If you're going to drop the weights, at least hold and control it for a few seconds to show control.

  • WTF?, this isen´t even a sumo stand. Your knees are all jacked up, not to mention your bag.

  • I wish I had the bar's perspective....

  • so beautiful, so thin and so strong !!!

  • will u deadlift me if i fall?:D

    impressive lift :)

  • It's Crossfit, people. They don't care about form.

  • @elgilicious

    and all use sumo

  • sorry your form was poor, you were not low enough, plus you rounded out your back very unhealthy and you let the wieght go in seconds= failure

  • that was made out of rubber :P

  • that was pretty awesome, should have held it at the lock out just a lil longer though

  • good genetics

  • Good lift ^^

What's with all you cunts telling her to lower the barbell? those are bumper plates, they're meant to handle getting dropped, and the negative in a deadlift is just a waste of energy, keep training like a bunch of old women by all means though guys.

  • Hmm

  • Durr.

It was cool until you abruptly dropped it.

  • @LolitaSupreme Why does that matter...shes deadlifting like 2x her weight. notice i said SHEEEEEEEEE. Thats fucking brute.

  • @LolitaSupreme You're retarded, dropping the weights for a max lift is perfectly normal. Youtube weightlifters really need to educate themselves before commenting.

  • @etagged

    No, it isn't.

    That's called half-assing it.

Bringing the barbell back down in a controlled, smooth fashion is part of the challenge that is deadlifting.

Curlbro faggots really need to educate themselves before trying to argue with someone who's been lifting for longer than they've been potty trained.

  • @LolitaSupreme Just because you've trained longer doesn't mean much. You could've trained the last 20 years and know less than someone who started a few years ago, weightlifting has changed quite a bit, bro.

The eccentric (lowering) portion of a deadlift riskier than the concentric (lifting) portion. On max lifts it is more useful to drop the weight to reduce the chance of injury and a sore back for the rest of the week. if you can lower the deadlift slowly, you are no where close to your max.

  • @etagged

Well, I guess the definition of MAX has changed.

In my opinion, dropping the weight at the end of a deadlift is the same as just stopping when you're at the bottom of a squat and racking the barbell. It's HALF-assed. Deadlifting is consists of two motions. Up. Down.

  • @LolitaSupreme Perhaps you should go to a power lifting meet and ask them for their definition...

Or maybe go to an Olympic lifting competition and tell them that they didn't perform an eccentric snatch :P

  • @3buttocks

You can't compare a snatch to a deadlift or a squat.

The only reason why people drop weights after a snatch is because it's unnecessary to put it back down in a controlled manner. It's such a light weight compared to your other lifts that using both legs to put it down slowly is just stupid.

  • @LolitaSupreme

And it's unnecessary to control the deadlift, as that's the point when injury is most likely. Try telling Andy Bolton to slowly lower 1003lbs without injuring himself

  • @LolitaSupreme Also, if you're already doing squats, you have the benefit of doing eccentrics in that, and the extra recovery from a negative deadlift will limit your training frequency.

  • Sumo is always the way to go.

That's pretty good for a girl.

  • Very good lift sweetie put a lot of blokes in my gym to shame

  • Really impressive. :)

  • sexy

  • sexy

  • sexy

  • nice lift... watch those toes though... u almost broke a few.. lol!! can u do this much with a regular grip and stance?

  • It's her max deadlift. It's not about a work out. Besides, there are better ways to train your back muscles. She could've held the bar a half second longer, though. And honestly, looks like she could squeeze another 10-20lbs. Good work.

  • While dropping the weight in a competition setting may be alright, you really shouldn't be training to drop the weight. the negative, or down, part of the rep is very important to building proper back strength.

Good deadlift though, a lot of strength on that small frame

  • @hardestr Are you mad? Your ment to let the weight just drop...Have you ever deadlifted before....Deadlifts are all about the positive not the negative

  • @lukealandrummond Actually you're not supposed to let the weight drop. It's not a proper deadlift unless you bring it down, not drop it. They'll get you in meets for that.

  • @wrmspatriot You still drop it, you just don't let go of the bar. That's what i meant, this person meant go down slowly, which actually causes damage

  • i will smell the ass

  • Very good...but admittedly it is half a rep. don't ignore the negative of the rep (positive, static, negative).

  • plz give me a brake, at least try and do the whole rep this is complete trash sorry. You have to actually go back down to the floor with the rep otherwise if you just do just the positive part it doesn't count. check other youtube videos, I'm not going to even bother explaining this any further

  • She's fucking hot, are you kidding me?

  • Man some people are jealous

  • wood plow/10

  • nice... fuck the haters

  • are those ballet shoes? lol

  • wood plow.

  • aww that's cute. A homphobic response. The go to move for the sub intelligent.

  • THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH SUMO DEADLIFT, BUT IN THIS VIDEO HER SUMO DEADLIFT FORM IS WRONG. GREAT EFFORT, BUT IMPROVE FORM.

  • @eowdaoc what is wrong with her form? The weight is on the floor, she picks the weight up off the floor and locks out. Yeah she doesnt do the negative faze but loads of people drop the weight after the lock out and the most they get is comments about how its bad for the weights. Nice going Kandice. Keep it up.

  • @bingbang3214 well if the only requirements for good form is picking up the weight and locking out, everyone has good form. this is not the case though. first mistake i notice is even though her legs are spread apart far, her toes are pointing almost straight forward. this is wrong. her feet need to be angled out more.

  • @eowdaoc It's a sumo deadlift idiot

  • Hey don't listen to what these people are telling you. Your form was very good. I partly agree with not just letting go of the weight when it's at the top but lowering it as well after. But otherwise very good form, and you're an attractive young woman. I bet these people bashing you are jealous they're not as strong as you. Impressive for a woman. Keep it up. Good lift and you're hot :)

  • 1. she's not ugly

    2. she's not a bitch

    3. all the guys that train you don't know what correct form and full ROM is

    4. just do the eccentric phrase

  • Wanna get married? then u have to carry me up the stairs ^^

  • thats not even a sumo deadlift.. bring it up to your chin and call it a sumo deadlift

  • Pathetic rep. Throw some weight on the bar and fuck those guys you workout with.

    They are SEXISTS.

  • Dat rounded back tech!

  • wow that was very impressive! for anyone of that matter. and for her looks, she is smoking hot. wish i new her number.... wait i already have it.

  • 90% of the people commenting could not lift that. Good job!

  • good lift

  • expand the foot and knee should be a projection on the foot

  • Actually pretty good form for a max lift. Great job.

People are complaining about you letting go of the weight (ignoring the negative portion of the lift). When it comes to personal records or powerlifting in general, people usually just drop the weight.

  • There is no negative part of a proper deadlift, that's how you injure your back. Idiots.

  • @ScottWarley88 Sorry buddy, but there is a negative part to a deadlift. Lowering the weight back down is just important as lifting. How about you read up on proper training before making a comment. P.S. Good job on the lift, just work on lowering it back down. You will get much better results.

  • @jwil2511 How about you quit lecturing people on YouTube? Watch a powerlifting competition or an Olympic lifting meet. None of them do controlled negative reps. The competition is to pick the weight up, not put it down. The girl is obviously going for a PB here. Good on her.

  • @ScottWarley88 no, you injure your back by just letting go of it and shocking your muscles. look up benedikt magnussons 1100lb deadlift world record. see what he's doing there in the end of the video? HE'S LOWERING THE WEIGHT BACK DOWN. BECAUSE THATS HOW YOU DO A DEADLIFT

  • @FrederikVanBerg Hahaha... You can't use the world record holder as an example you fucking idiot. He's a genetic freak. Are you Benedikt Magnusson? No... Then I suggest you don't slowly lower your 1 rep max weight. Complete idiot.

  • @ScottWarley88 good advice, if you want to be good don't train like the best, do it different so you aren't anything like them. He's the world record holder because he does it right. I just watched your video and you put the weigt down, so stop being a hypocrite. Also you need to keep your back straight.

  • @PKnSTUFF Put the weight down but don't resist against it going down. That is how you hurt your back. How much do you deadlift?

  • @ScottWarley88 If you resisted it going down, it wouldn't go down. but you don't just let go either. You set it back down and because you move with your alleviating the weight over a brief period of time instead of instantly. Your right it's not a negative either, but letting go of weight all at once is equally dangerous. But you should definitely use the best lifters as an example, they arn't good because they train wrong, and genetics alone don't get you to the top.

  • @FrederikVanBerg Nobody gives a fuck, 1 rep max is not for training, it's for checking goals!

    Stupid discussion...

  • @Siedlerdeo It's not because of training you lower the weight, it is because of safety. 225 pounds of pressure is being exerted by the muscle to counter the 225 pounds of weight. The pressure her bones feel is balanced. When the weight is released all at once, that weight leaves but the pressure of her muscles is still present so for an instant her body's muscles pull her bones with 225 pounds of force in one direction.

  • Don't worry about the negative, the point is to pick it up, which you did. You get a lot out of pulling it up because it is a static weight and you get little by bringing the weight down because you already did the work. BTW, dont listen to dumblewhore, you are very pretty and it is easy to see he is insecure. HAVE A GREAT DAY

  • @mmcobra512 no, its not like u said

  • These guys are fucking idiots, GREAT form! You look great too!

  • Comment removed

  • damn people commenting are stupid. she locked out totally at the top, her form was near perfect, and considering its a max (or close to in my estimation), thats all you can ask for.

as for her looks, well... id get her number.

  • These guys are retards don't listen to them. That is most definitely a full sumo DL rep. Impressive!

  • To be perfectly fair for weight lifting competitions doing the positive portion of the rep is all thats necessary, and given the fact that she's doing a PR most of the people here are being way to critical.

That said sumo deadlifts are for pussies.

  • Well, I'm nowhere near that weight yet.

    That's strong for a gal.

It sucks that you can kick my ass.

    Hopefully I have a great personality :-)

  • lmao reading these comments you can tell there's a lot of jealousy among the men who can't deadlift that much

  • awesome vid! keep up the good work!

  • You sure do how to earn your drug and spending money bent over like that

  • nice. that's respect, no idea why the world is full of trolls and haters...

  • she is a hottie

  • @henksthetics as iWorkoutToday says, deadlifts concentric is what matters. Have a look at Jason Ferruggia's post "Drop the deadlift" (first result in a google search).

    Impressive lift there, Kandicewood14

  • looks good , would watch again .

  • Dont listen to them, theyre just jealous. What are you lifting now?

  • nice half a rep

  • @henksthetics Really? WEll thats weird because all the guys that train me said it was perfect. hmm where are you from? hahaha

  • @kandicewood14 It is your body structure. You are a lot lighter then the weight you lifted. It looks funny but you had ok form. The end worried me for potential hernias though... That might be what he saw.

  • @kandicewood14 You should have done the negative. Part of the issue though is your foot angles are horrible. With proper foot positioning you would be afraid to drop the bar like that out of risk of dropping on one foot. (work on pointing your toes out almost parallel with bar).

  • @kandicewood14 It's a sumo-deadlift, which is different to a conventional deadlift. Nothing wrong with her form.

  • @henksthetics But deadlifts have just a concentric phase... The negative doesn't have much benefit...

  • @henksthetics ?????

  • C'mon now. Don't ignore the negative part of the rep.

  • @pirates22000 well then tell me what I'm doing wrong.e duhhhhhh

  • @kandicewood14 I think they are saying you didn't lower the weight, that's all.

  • @kandicewood14 he just did... "Don't ignore the negative part of the rep." Basically dont drop the weight after picking it up, set it down gently... This is called the "negative" part of the rep, the "positive" is when you lift it up from the ground. The negative part is equally or even more important when strength training, in terms of strength gains and injury preventions.

  • @kandicewood14 What is wrong? Dont throw the weight, land it slowly with your hands. Thats why everyone saying half rep. And keep staight your back, then it will be perfect.

    BW you look great!

  • @kandicewood14 You"re not doing it wrong. pirates just trains differently... When you lift up and drop the bar it is called concentric lifting. He is telling you to lower the bar slowly, called eccentric or negative lifting. The portion he is talking about is more likely to build muscle. How you lift all depends on what you are going for. Today, it looks like you were just going for strength, so great job, you lifted perfectly for that goal! :)

  • @kandicewood14 He means to not just let go of the bar at the top, but actually lower it. No one says you need to lower is slow and controlled, it can go pretty fast, but lower it. When you just let it go like that at the top, your muscles are under tension. If you just let go it's a shock, you can get an injury

  • @kandicewood14 Don't drop the weight and hold on and still use your muscle to lower it. Other wise you did an awesome job and good form.

  • @kandicewood14 You're dropping the weight instead of bringing it back down

  • @kandicewood14 they're talking about the down motion. It's very important for building strength, but it is not necessary in competition or record-setting or making a video. Your accomplishment is none the lesser.

  • @pirates22000

    ...

    its a deadlift

    ...

    a MAX deadlift, apparently

  • @BattleFitReno yep sure is. My original comment still stands. I do the negative on my 1 rep maxs also.

  • @pirates22000

unless you mean that you basically drop along with the bar, that's a really stupid thing to do.

  • @pirates22000 deadlift dont have a negative part that's why we call it "dead" lift....

  • @ChevalierKadosh no, you oblivious idiot. we call it the deadlift because it is a dead weight laying on the ground, lifted up and put back down.

the lowering of the bar is just as essential as the lifting. you don't see people lowering the bar when doing bench presses down unto your chest just so you can push it up do you? this is only half of the exercise.

  • @FrederikVanBerg Insults are weapons of the weak, I wish you'd be able to call me idiot in front of me, it'would be your last time... have fun hiding infront of your computer screen

  • @pirates22000 the negative part of a deadlift develops reversal strength wich is useless in deadlifting. moron, ehehe

  • @haboobon what does your scrawny ass know about deadlifting. Go eat a sandwich.

  • @pirates22000 well i already know 1 thing better than you, want to keep going fag boy?

  • @Dumblewh0re Why would you say that? That was really mean of you. I dont even know you hahaha Obviously if youre saying that you probally don't look that great either.. lol

  • @kandicewood14 I'm sorry I think my little brother was using my account, I apologize on his behalf. Good job on the dead lift though I know how those go as I used to play football.
