Okay so taken from the show Anna said she and Robert had buried their love in order to attempt to move on. There are many more quotes but that one says it all. And whatever I have read interviews where both TR/FH were thrilled at the reunion. As if it matters but since a poster constantly brings it up.....

The debate will go on and on as to who Anna love more.But you can't overlook the fact that Anna never chose Robert over Duke-but you can say that-Anna chose Duke over Robert for years.Anna stated-Duke is the #1 man in her life.She said she never loved anyone as much as she loves Duke.In '91 both Tristan and Finola spoke out against their reunion.Tristan stated-he ever agreed with that storyline.Now that speaks volume when the actor/actress both feel it was a mistake to reunite the two characters

@mssimplyprecious It really didn't matter what the actors thought it was what the viewers wanted. I don't know if you watched the show in real time like I did but in 85 once we knew Anna was Robert's wife viewers wanted them back together. The writers teased us with that for 6 years and finally hooked them up as their exit story lines. Duke was not half the man Robert was. Robert would have never cheated on or lie to Anna (drunk or otherwise) let alone putting Robin in any sort of danger.

Robert was not 100x better than Duke: nor was he 100x better for Anna.Both Duke and Robert was fully aware of the fact that she always loved each of them-even when she was not with them.Anna's two greatest LOVES was Robert and Duke.She state- neither of them could replace the other one in her heart.Robert was Anna's first love: but Duke was Anna's TRUE LOVE-her SOULMATE.She even told Robert that her love for Duke was more powerful than theirs she would never love anyone as much as she loved Duke

Robert was 100x the man Duke was and he was 100x better for Anna, In the end we all know who Anna loved the most she even admitted it that she loved Robert and Alawys has and felt a part of her was missing until they got back together.

My feeling is Anna got redemption for herself finally getting Robert back and looking up before getting married to him again and saying Thank You to god just shows how much he ment too her,

I don't want to be a Duke hater, because I really do like Ian Buchanan's acting, but this just makes me hate the character more. If he's going to fess up, why not be honest? This was BEFORE Anna asked for a separation -- he couldn't get hold of her for one freaking afternoon (because of Olivia's machinations) so he threw a fit, got drunk, and was an active participant in the one-night stand with Olivia. He danced with her, kissed her, he knew what was happening. She didn't date-rape him.

HEY!! I don't take sides in Robert vs Duke. The only side I take is Anna's! I let Robert know when I am not happy with him. I didn't realise they did this story interwined with Robert's story though... no wonder there was a feud between R&D for Anna. The show wrote that way. Over 20 years later the feud is still going?? I am still just Anna's side though.

How can Duke say that he did not know what happened? He was flirting and kissing Olivia before he passed out. He was no innocent. Looking back at these scenes really does take a way from my love for Duke. I find him insufferable.

I'm not rating this video out of frustration with Duke.
