As for the "true fans" of Alice In Chains, I'm a big fan myself and I love Layne Staley but give Jerry Cantrell some credit. It wasn't a one-man show. He's written a large majority of the songs and does vocals as well. I don't think the current band is in any way disrespectful to Layne Staley and I'd prefer they keep the music he was a part of alive.
