@Cmet332 to my knowledge, he took the girl without permission to the subway and wanted to basically take her, but then he told her to get candy bars. the reason why he told her to get candy is because he told his daughter to get candy and then someone abducted her. he basically was going crazy and wanted to see if the abductor was going to steal the other girl. but then he realized that he was wrong in thinking about stealing her. so he decided to take her back to her mother. i sound confusing.

Firstly,it's MY name and I'm pretty sure I know how it's pronounced :)

The real name is Irish...O'Cathain (pronounced more or less like "ke-hoin" Keane is an Anglicised spelling based on an archaic pronunciation...in Irish english the combination "e-a" is pronounced "ey" ...tea,peas etc. The english (and some on the east coast of ireland) pronounce this combination "ee". So there you are!

Been hankering after it since i saw kerrigans clean shaven a years back - this film is a very tense journey, the camera bareley leaves Lewis"s face throughout, and this could be considered an acting tour de force.

The tear that runs down Lewis"s face in the last minute of the film has a technology far beyond that of many other films. Kerrigan needs to be more prolific, and Lewis needs a career defining role, he is amongst the cream of british actors. Im sure we wont have to wait much longer.

I love this movie, had the honor of snagging a copy of the DVD from the shelf a few years ago(it's hard finding it in many DVD stores in the U.S) Damien was awesome, Lodge's direction was perfect and this was one of the earlier roles of Abigail Breslin that showed her true potential as an outstanding actress.

This has to be the saddest movie I've ever seen. I've never felt so sorry for a character. I nearly teared up about 3 times which never happens to me.

That 1st minute after the title screen makes this movie for me...simply breathtaking.

I remember seeing the trailer for this when it came out and I thought it looked very powerful and moving (although I'm still yet to see it in full). I like the way the camera seems always to be on Lewis' face, you can really feel his pain.
