''Dance of December souls'' sounds very emotional and atmospheric, definitely my number one doom metal album. The new October Tide release sounds alright, but it's nothing outstanding. I've expected a bit better and atmospheric. There are some really boring riffs here and there.
Tortured solos like coming from hell... the darkest melodies... the heviest riffs... growls like from satan himself... All Doom/Death is contained in Paradise Lost's first record. They did it all back then!
well, i feel Lost paradise to be doom/death metal, perhaps you could say slow death metal, but i still think it's doomish enough to be called doomdeath.
@calastiur This is original Doom/Death metal like you said. It can be considered Death Metal since it can be slow and heavy as fuck, but it also has that gloomy feeling and gloom rhymes with doom so HA! Plus there was a major movement of Death Doom from England and Paradise Lost kinda pionerred that. Lots of good bands check out: Prophecy of Doom, Anathema, My Dying Bride, Enchantment, Esoteric.

LOL I appreciate it. Only reason I said I was being weird was because I'm a 27 yr old female, but then again, I think 16 yrs old is legal in the UK , correct? I'm in the States so I'm not completely certain.

Good straightforward doom/death at its finest. Each lead melody along with the rhythm is doom and gloom topped off with the kickass melancholic solo.
