  • THE BEST RAPPER ALIVE!!!!

  • 3 people dont smoke crack

  • Idgaf what Jay says he knows if it wasnt for Nas and his Illmatic albulm Jay would have never made it he took so many songs, ideas, quotes and concepts from Nas to build his carrer you can see that on every Jay albulm something came from Nas. He even said on star is born "had the illmatic on bootleg shit was so ahead thought we was all dead" he studied Illmatic and Ready To Die and just became the ultimate mc.

  • you made it a hot line, i made it a hot song

  • Sample: Ohio Players - Fopp

  • if u aint feeling this song u dont like hip hop

  • listened to this in gr 8 n im 12 years older still bumpin it

  • He did sample Represent. But there 2 different songs tbh. Infact this is a superior song to Nas's represent. Nas only mentioned that the rap game nd the drug trade were similar. And whilst the 2 have long been correlated with each other- this song remains the best example to date about the similarites between the rap and crack game. Jay broke it down soo clearly and his flow on this track was INSANE- way better than Nas's flow on represent tbh. Illmatic still remains the best solo rep debut tho.

  • @zsivaz You do know that Nas's Represent song was not talking about the rap or crack game right? That was just the line in his song and Jay z sampled it to relate it to his song. He took Nas's idea to make his album as you can see. Plus Nas song was pure flow as he spit fire and DJ Premier on the beat made it a classic.

  • I can't believe ppl r dissin Jay Z sayin he sampled Nas again- so wot if he did. First off Jay has always paid his respects to the illmatic album- even on the "Takeover" despite dissing Nas's career - he acknowledges that its a great album- "had a spark wen u started" . He also bigged up the album on "This can't be life"- one of his more personal songs.

  • @zsivaz This kid talkin real shit!^

  • one of the best's songs

  • he had some joints

  • Nas-Represent

Outkast- My Intro To let You Know

  • no doubt, it's a commission position.

  • old skool grindin' flow... nice

  • which of Nas albums was this sampled from?can anybody tell?

  • @Concretenana the song is from nas illimatic album the song is called represent, jay z cut off a line from the song

  • stolen song from 50 cent, jay z = fake and gay

  • @kevamali Do you even listen to rap?

  • @kevamali did you actually just say that do you even know what album this is from and what year it came out

  • this is what im telling everyone, is exactly the same. i want to make my version of this.

  • Business is all the same. ;-}

  • sounds like PHILIP GLASS in the beginning couple seconds

  • This song indirectly got me into Outkast.

  • @chickenshitmchammers how the fuck

  • @ashleighbebe Cuz Andre 3000 is in the hook. "See that rap shit is really just like sellin smoke."

  • @chickenshitmchammers ohhhhhhhh!!

  • another nas verse from his song represent

  • @LaMontV3 yeah. but jigga know wat to do wit it!

  • @milky205fly Once again, he made it a hot line, Jigga made it a hot song! lmao.

  • @markandrewm Do you honestly not like illmatic for reasons other than Jay-Z told you not to like it?

You do realize that Jay-Z himself is a huge fan of Nas, right?

"Where n---s argue all day about who's the greatest emcee: Biggie, Jay-Z, or Nas..."

  • @milky205fly nigga hop off Jay's dick and just appreciate the fact that Jay was a fan just like anyone else with taste. He sampled so much Nas it ain't even funny. And Represent was COLD all the way through, not one line.

  • @TheEsquire212 Nigga Nas Observed is whole situation. Jay explain from experience. Y u mad? Illmatic was raw. but that nigga a herb. I put vol 1 against illmatic any day.

  • @milky205fly I'm a Jay Fan all day, you reachin wit Vol 1 tho

  • @milky205fly Reasonable Doubt is understandable, but Vol 1 my niggs? u buggin primetime

  • how u know nas aint speak from experience? to me even if nas was just the "view type" (which i doubt) observation is experience within itself. so whether a mc is directly involved or lookin from afar is they stayin tru and on topic? can ppl get wit it? thats what i feel it come down to and they both did that in they own way.

  • @milky205fly That's basically like saying he' s waiting for Nas to release a song that he can listen to and take a line and make into a song because he couldn't make a song for himself. Not a good impression at all. Hell, Nas on his second album was sampling himself just to show you how good he is.

  • @zsivaz rite...smh lol

  • slept on album. not a bad follow-up to reasonable doubt. nas and andre 3000 on the hook too!

  • jigga is a swagga jacker

  • stay off his swaggin dick

  • But I am making the Body of C. and black people look bad. What about those who profess and then make public comments like this? Reexamine and then come talk to me.

    You've just lost my respect.
