  • a focused mike tyson was an unstoppable monster, a young focused mike tyson could beat ali, he would have reigned again for soo long if it wasnt for his false conviction

  • back in the day when people in the crowd stood up to good action, unlike today where they stand up to every two unch combo

  • I dont know what would be scarier, flying on a plane with Osama or stepping into the ring with this beast named Mike.

  • Tyson's comeback after the loss to Douglas was one filled with PURE RAGE. He had lost some of his skills since the departure of Rooney, but he hadn't fought quite this ferociously since he was coming up in the ranks. You can tell that the Douglas fight woke his as up and he wanted nothing more than to win his belts back. Fuckin' rape conviction fucked everything up. He might have gone to prison anyway for raping Holyfield. Ha!

  • IF TYSON go to prison, he would have fought holyfield with both of them in their prime. Would have been the best fight ever.

  • Takamura-san can kill these two jokers with his hands tied

  • This is when tyson became a head hunter, I prefer the Tyson that broke down bodies to set up the knock out.

  • they count way to fast...

  • Alex Stewart gave Holyfield 2 tough fights,

Alex Stewart gave Micheal Moorer a very fight,

Alex Stewart gave Foreman a very tough 12 rd fight,

& he basically KO'd everybody else he fought,

the only man to defeat Stewart so easy was IRON MIKE TYSON : )

  • @nevawrong Thank you.. I hate how people say Tyson fought nothing but bums.. Tyson ended alot of careers that could of been great, simple

  • @nevawrong Mike was never a boxer, he was a street fighting knockout artist with boxing gloves on...

  • @MichaelGetachew

Which can be translated as: He was a buffoon with brute strength and no fear that would charge his opponents until they were knocked out. He had no skill whatsoever besides just being very strong/tough. I agree. ( : But I like the guy now.

  • @CheddarBob39 Charge his opponents? Had no skill? Just look at the guy's defensive skills (in his earlier years), his hand speed, the crisp combinations. If it was about brute strength, Tyson would've never been champion. This guy was all skill.

  • Rigd

  • klitschko vs haye sucked so bad, that I turned off the TV and watched some good old classic destruction by tyson <3

  • @b3nderman

    i did the same thing

  • @b3nderman Haha me too!

  • wwe sucks hairy balls

    mike tyson live forever.

  • Tyson looked pretty sloppy here after leaving kevin rooney, doesent set any of his bombs up and barley any head movement, but his ferocity is perennial! damn i love this fight soley for his viciousness and bad intentions!

  • MMA is one sport.BOXING is another sport.SPORT!!!Nobody compares football and baseball.Comparing MMA and boxing is just as stupid.Anyways..... Tyson didn`t only mess up Steward in that fight. He broke his spirit as a warrior, and Stewart stopped evolving as a fighter. He was a very promising "up`n coming" fighter, but Tyson beat all that out of him that night.Oh,and ppl who watch and "love" MMA 2 become better streetbrawlers:U`ve got it all wrong, and ur a disgrace 2 the sport.Just sayin....

  • Anyone saying Mike Tyson would get his ass kicked in MMA, are you aware what your stating?

It's like saying, a football player would lose in a professional basketball match. Stop mixing these 2...

  • stewart took a dive

  • Wild, wild, wild. Post-Rooney was sort of fun for the fans I guess; people forget that the Douglas loss was bookended by THREE first round ko's (Williams, Tillman, Stewart) but it put him at risk. Douglas and Holyfield were able to expose it, and Ruddock nearly did. It may be a first round ko, but his skills had clearly deteriorated.

  • What a terrifying experience it must have been to be in the ring with someone like Tyson. I think I'll stick to making sweet love to my girl. When she bites I like it ;^)

  • Even though Tyson was still impressive in this fight, this is NOTHING compared to 80's Tyson. This is after Kevin Rooney was fired (thanks alot Don King...) & his skills started to decline, especially his defense. In this fight he's just swinging wildly looking for the 1 shot KO, instead of bobbing and weaving and getting on the inside.

  • @PHILLYHEAT215....BING!

  • MIKE TYSON:"Loved by few, hated by many, feared by ALL" I`m one of the few.....

  • mike tyson, best puncher in the history of man... if you can punch like him you got nothing to worry about in a street fight.... he would lose in mma though as tyson has no training in ground or kicking

  • @0salot Yeah he Can loses in MMA cause he not diverse enough to deal with ground fighting. I tell you what though. Trying to get inside on him will be hell. No MMA fighter has the handskill of this boxer. NONE.

I like MMA but its pure SAVAGE.

  • @0salot dude your saying a football player would lose in a professional basketball match.. why are you mixing these 2? lmfao..

  • @strengthlove12 Boxing and mma have been compared to each other for ages.... And I also believe today boxing sucks

  • @0salot Yes they have been compared to each other. By who? people who don't really know or have a passion for one or the other. Like I said your stating something ridiculous like the example. 2 different trainings, 2 different sports.

Boxing sucks nowadays, thats your opinion. Some people will always love it. MMA to me is a load of bullcrap (they always look like scared 10 year olds throwing punches and going down on the ground.) My opinion. But dont compare these 2.

  • @strengthlove12 scared 10 year olds, well boxing especially today is just people wearing pillows on their hands knocking each others heads, with the majority of fights being boring and samey..... mma is as close to real life fighting main stream entertainment will allow it.... boxing is long gone, there will be no more new stars.... look at the heavy weigh devision for christ sake.... but yeah thats my opinion, i will no longer compare :)

  • boy oh boy stewart had heart though.taking hard shots by mr iron and getting up ready for more.amaizing stuff!

  • I don't give a fuck what anyone says, Tyson was the greatest ever because he was trained by the greatest trainer ever. And as for the dream match of Ali vs. Tyson both in their prime Tyson would have won with brute strength.

  • @MichaelGetachew Brute strength? Did you ever hear of George Foreman? You also must remember that Ali was the master of psychology. He'd have gotten into Tyson's head the way he got into Liston, Patterson, Frazier and Foreman. If Ali could do that, what do you think he'd do against someone as psychologically fragile like Mike? And believe me, Mike was as fragile as an egg. Ali would have won the fight before the first bell rang!

  • @jamdowner Why doesn`t anyone think about what the outcome would have been if Tyson vs Theofilo Stevenson could have been a reality.Yes i know Stevenson never went pro,but if he hadn`t had the misfortune of beeing born in Cuba i`m sure he would have. And done so with great sucsess..... or maybe even better,Stevenson vs Ali,since they both were tall technical brilliant fighters.Just a thought

  • @35yearoldboy A few years ago I'd be inclined to agree but with the amount of brilliant amateurs becoming pro, it'd seem they're suited to the amateurs. There have always been great Cuban fighters like Napoles, Chocolate & Gavilan but communism changed that. Amateurs are just that...amateurs. Apart from Casamayor the rest are mediocre. I know Gamboa & Rigondeaux have titles but considering the number of world class amateurs turning pro & FAILING I've to reconsider Stevenson's chances with Ali.

  • @jamdowner Ur right. All this "could have, should have, would have" doesn`t change anything. They we`re all champs bcoz they we`re the best at that time. It`s futile. And the "Tyson in MMA" is just as...stupid? Tyson was a badass streetfighter,no doubt, but he was trained as a pugilist.I am a HUGE Tyson-fan and always will be.I hope he has found peace of mind, and can live a good, ouiet life in the future without having 2 subject himself to stuff like the McBride "fight" at the age of 50 to pay a bill.

  • @jamdowner N.B They we`re the best at the time AND had that little bit of luck that gave them a break.Like Bobby Stewart and Cus D`amato to TysonI`m sure out of 6 billion+ people there is sure to be another Tyson, another Ali,maybe even better who goes to the gym every day but for some reason will stay in that gym his entire career.

  • @35yearoldboy So true! It's that little bit of chance that can make the world of difference. What if young Cassius Clay didn't get his bike stolen. Then he wouldn't have met police officer Joe Martin who introduced him to boxing.

  • FULL FIGHT !

  • stewart was mauled

  • he got payed millions for 2 min. thats awesome

  • Letting Kevin Rooney go was the biggest mistake Mike could make. This tyson looks tame compared to the 85-88 boxer, he lost all the creativity, the bouncing movement, the aggression, the back rotation to dodge punches, here mike just goes for the one clean knock out punch, with rooney his peek a boo style was immaculate, was perfection. what a shame

  • @petitprince1 I have a feeling that letting Rooney go wasn`t Mike`s desicion. He might have been the one saying the words, but we all know wich a**hole got his greedy, nasty claws on Mike when Cus died. And the way i have read/understood it he let him(Rooney) go after the Spinks-fight,wich makes absolutely NO sense.Cus should have lived for 10 more yrs.He didn`t.Rooney should have kept on,he didn`t.The whole Tyson-saga COULD have been great in a GOOD way.It wasn`t...... It`s such a shame.

  • @35yearoldboy couldnt agree with you more. also if jim jacobs had lived. it could have been perfect, with cus, rooney and jacobs behind mike would have stayed grounded, focused on his boxing and would have smashed boxing records.

  • Being a slow starter was a dangerous thing to be against Mike Tyson, it has to be said.

  • @BruceinFalkirk ya bro and another thing that worked good against tyson was a tall guy with a long reach, the type of fighter to stick and move. a good example of that would be tony tucker.

  • this tyson looks pretty sharp compared to his other fights without rooney

  • heaheaa tyson is a shit boxer ...he only likes to rape ..he also likes the male ass as well...heahaa....mmm

  • nice

  • Fore those who believe that Holyfield would have beaten Tyson at this time: remember that Stewart gave Holyfield all he could handle for 8 rounds when the fight was stopped because of a cut. Holyfield did not knock down Stewart once, but here he got slaughtered. If tyson had stayed true to the game and was trouble free we would be talking about him in a different way today

  • @kitchin07

So what? I still think Holyfield would win.

  • @403766 You think that because your brain is futile, and thoughts are the products of your brain.

  • @MichaelGetachew

LOLthe dumbass with a cannabis leaf for a picture telling a real boxing fan like me my brain is futile?

Grow up and learn some boxing kid :D

  • @403766 and now you're trying to insult me in a sad attempt at restoring you're deminished self esteem, but I'm not the dumbass so there's no reason for me to get offended... i forgive you.

  • @MichaelGetachew

    Yep you just got owned.

  • Stewart was a good fighter who got thrown in too early in his career. He was never the same kind of fighter after this. He was a broken fighter and a broken fighter is not a good thing

  • tyson looked like he had no fear ducking his head down like that while going for the kill!

  • A shame a big boy like Stewart can't keep Tyson at bay for a few rounds.

  • Stewart is obviously afraid. I don't blame him.

  • now he converted to islam

  • just needs one of those sledgehammers and ur gone hence why he was able to carry on even after he fell outta love with boxing ..but i agree at this time movement etc was an animal

  • he was telegraphing that big right hand at the start but stewart was too frozen with fear to do anything

  • Don King killed a man by stomping him to death for owing him some money. No joke, he did time for it. Guy is not a pleasant individual at all...

  • Gotta have balls to get in the ring with Tyson in them days. Guy was a fucking beast. Much respect to the man.

  • That ref counts way too fast, or perhaps he was trying to save Stewart.

  • tyson said he was at his most fierce ever in this fight.

  • I remember the promo for the fight; the ending tag-line was "Pray for Alex Stewart."

  • At the start of this fight,Stewart's wife brakes down and starts crying! They took her out of the arena.

  • @99virgo

I don't know weather to luagh or feel sad.

  • @99virgo for the right reason budd... she knew her husband is about to get killed, and also she knew he wouldn't be getting paid as much

  • The last few seconds of the last round.

  • I want to seed Tyson in MMA

  • MMA is gay man. Boxing and Tyson rule @conradholt

  • @martygi I wanna see Mike Tyson vs Alistair Overeem! That would be epic! :D

  • ''He was just a light dude''

Well,he could have taken steroids...oh wait

  • If he stops throwing...he'll be dead.

    Haha.

  • getting in the ring with Tyson had to have felt like getting in a cage with a lion, a hungry lion.

  • @gardengrowsevenonefo Even in february 90 ?

  • tyson fights were wild !

  • Did it seem like the second knockdown count was abnormally fast to anyone else?

  • Mike Tyson Very good !!!!!!!!!!!

  • it amazing how Tyson moves forward all the time forward forward forward, and when the other guys punches he would just slip and move forward, the greatest of all time (Y)

  • In 1987,88 holyfield was hiding as a cruiserweight, why wasn't he even a heavyweight at that time? There can be no reason,NONE for him not being a heavyweight at this time.Except fear, end of discussion.

  • @TheGatorfan93 he wasnt hiding man, hell he was just a light dude

  • Tyson was a very very good fighter, but he had a lot of trouble with Quick Tillis and and only won 6-4 on two of the score cards. He was hurt by Bonecrusher Smith, Tony Tucker and Frank Bruno.

Styles make fights and Evander Holyfield always had the style to beat Tyson. I was telling anyoe that would listen that very thing in 88,89 and 90.

As for him against the greats.

  • @wellerslastloafers What rd was he hurt by Smith in?

  • just look at tyson, doesnt everbody agree, he just looks like a one punch slugger, where was his headmovement, where was his upppercuts, why didnt he work the body, and use rapid combinations. ever since mike tyson gave away rooney, everbody could see his style was crumbling, everything that cus da amto taught was was gone, that is why tyson lost douglas, just look at him he just uses a jab then left hook, then comes back with the right just slugging.

  • Tyson fights are the most exciting! This is the kind of brutality that people would pay to see. He looks like a juggernaut who wants to blow his opponents head. Not just to win by points and run around the ring. Maybe this is the reason why tyson is always at ringside when there is a manny pacquiao fight.

  • Just imagine what Tyson could have achieved if Kevin Rooney was still around those years...Here he shows how brutal his punches are but the style he had before was impeccable. Tyson is and always be a LEGEND

  • goddamn. i guess tyson rapes inside and outside the ring. hahaha

  • second knock down was suspect.

  • Red card for Stewart @ 0:52

  • Mike Tyson simply the best, someone who is that big, with that speed, accuracy and power, that is one great fighter.

  • alex stewart wasnt a bad fighter for a while but he was overmatched against tyson and holyfield or moorer he didnt do bad against foreman lost majority descion even though he went down a few times he seemed to have problems against quicker punchers going into first fight with holyfield he was 24-0 with 24 kos

  • "Stewart never went down against Evander Holyfield" hhmmm

  • Comment removed

  • Tysons downfall was his talent, sadly to say. MONEY HUNGRY SWINE WANTED IT ALL. Poor Mike. Best in my book

  • at 1:14 he is looking at the ref like man hurry up and count to 10. im n here with a damn t rex

  • You can tell Tyson wasn't with Rooney anymore. He is hardly moving his head, he isn't throwing combinations and his punches are wide and swinging....Was still enough knock out most of the heavyweights at that time though.

  • his was born for this he is the greatest

  • all box legends are black

  • @bozzabi2 - Marciano - undefeated. Calzaghe - undefeated. Both white.

  • @Hardysamnin Calzaghe? lol

  • @aknatonra - yeah Calzaghe. The guy who humiliated every boxing legend of his era. Big heart, granite chin, unrivalled stamina, (1000 punches thrown at Jones, and Calzaghe was 37 at the time)blistering hand speed, admitedly with less power. But an overwhelmingly aggresive style that no one who got in the ring with him could handle. Lacy, Hopkins and Jones were all tipped to beat him by the Media. All of them got schooled in the art of boxing. Its only when they lost they were labled "past it"

  • @bozzabi2 Yeah, other than all the boxing legends that weren't black, then yeah, "all box legends are black"

  • i'm a nerd and i admire tyson.

  • Wow, 3 minutes must seem like an eternity sometimes.

  • It's weird this dude fought Mike like a scared puppy, but later on gave Foreman the worst beating of his career

  • he punches hard:P

  • what a machine! such an amazing fighter, one of the most powerful and fast heavy weight iv ever seen!

  • If he stops throwing punches....he'll be dead!

  • When Stewart gets up you can see in his eyes he's thinking "I'm doomed"

  • alex stewart vs. george foreman is one of the most brutal fights ever. too bad it was taken off of the internet recently. seriously, watch that fight, 2 early knockdowns by foreman who punches himself out, and barely makes it the distance to beat stewart, who beat george to the punch all night and left his face looking like a dropped watermelon. alex stewart v. george foreman... great great fight best of alex stewarts career, lot of powerful punches landing all the time, great action.

  • Ali cant beat TYSON , but surely Ali can beat TY'SON's son

  • @sanjubhaiatc try and leave a comment that makes some sort of sense, you fucking alien.

  • lol, "stay in the corner Michael!"

  • @MNAYMEN lol he couldn't wait to beat that ass.

  • May god be With me if i was in Alex Stewarts shoes!

  • Tyson the Legend

  • Tyson "gravitated" the guy at 1:07 lol

  • "Stewart begins to throw as a means of trying to defend himself..." what an intelligent comment. Jim Lampley is a truly empty headed fool.

  • Devastating power. Swinging so hard that he threw himself to the canvas. Now who wants to be on the other end of that punch? Holyfield never knocked Stewart down, Tyson knocks him down hard three times in the first. There's no comparison, Mike Tyson of the late 1980's was the best boxer of all time.

  • @hyprvypr Haha the age-old debate. Tyson had insane power, but against Ali would it even matter? Ali got past Foreman and Smokin' Joe - if their prime-selves could collide, would Ali's speed, agility and endurance best Tyson's raw strength and 1-hit KO power?

  • @alexruss2007 ali was fast yeah thats all he was a dancer

buth when tyson gath the change to hit ali ali is down we all know that

  • @feetlover18 I dont know about that, Ali survived against George Foreman one of the most powerful fighters of all time, I think a prime Ali would beat a prime Tyson

  • @ABauersMusic A fight we could only wish wouldve happenned.

  • @ABauersMusic no if tyson stays dedicated to his peekaboo combination punching style and isnt drained of all his energy, tyson wons easy by desicion

  • @jak1anorue It's easy to stay dedicated against fighters who can't fight.

  • @johntvette im telling you tysons character is more complicated than you think, if u have watched the rise of tyson in his era, then ud understand it was not the fact that tysons couldnt overcome adversity. before this blows up into a hge argument, plz read the entire bio on tyson on my page on the left hand side. i do NOT belive tyson is the best ever and his recore proves ithat he ISNT but tysons prime is quite differnt

  • @johntvette thats just ignorant, if you stopped acting ignorant you'd see why tyson such indisputable talent in his prime its not even funny. its funny though how you simply ignored everything i said here.

  • @alexruss2007 Of course Ali would beat Tyson. Tyson NEVER showed the ability to overcome adversity. Ali would ask the questions of Tyson, that he was never able to answer. Just like Holyfield, Ali would swim out into deep water and drown him.

  • @hyprvypr Holyfield may not have put Stewart down, but he sure whipped Tyson's ass.

  • @johntvette Tyson murederd stewart in 1990 if you didint know. and he headbutted stewart, then worked on opening the cut more untl the ref called the fight in favor of holyfield. stewart was generally landing more blows etc, before the headbutt. see wat happens when u cheat...

  • Tyson LEGEND.I worshipped the guy,great fighter.

  • @peaceman1234567 Tyson is nothing but a bum.

  • @m109r67 and may i ask about your achievments sir?! what should we recognize you for?! please enlighten us with your stupidity

  • @m109r67 id have to advise you to stop sticking blunt objects up your asshole!!

  • @peaceman1234567 wtf u worship ull pro suck his dick

  • @77pal77 WOW pondlife.Worship isn`t homosexual,go and sit down on a very long metal spike.

  • @77pal77 blow cock

  • come on now he keeps hitting dood on the back of his head

  • many refs would've counted stewart out after the 2nd knockdown. hell, foreman got up against ali on an 8 count and STILL got counted out.

  • @mightyafrowhitey - Yeah ref Frank Cappuccino is known for not stopping fights too quickly.

  • it's sad. cause don was a notorious crook long before he ever met tyson. seems like he would've known. but then again, mike's a fighter not a thinker

  • Oh no.....Don King wines and dines these lost souls who usually were devoid a father figure, usually African Americans. He invites them into his life and loves them like a man loves a son. It's seduction at its finest.

But unlike a son, when the fighter has outlived his usefulness, Don King drops them like a turd off a tall Indian. Every major fighter, including Ali, has admitted to a Don King fucking.

King still owes Ali over 100k for the Holmes fight to this day. And King is not alone.

  • Tyson had the raw talent but unfortunately he was robbed by all that is crooked in the boxing world. He was a great champ and deserves respect for his achievements.

  • nah he was the one firing trainers and getting locked up. he brought it on himself IMO.

  • Yea man ur right! he was the best at what he did.... But let me ask you, what are things that are crooked in boxing? im just curious in knowing

  • Google Don King, crook, boxing and that's a start. What's crooked are the promoters who con uneducated fighters into signing contracts with their pocket managers and trainers in addition to "financial advisors" who steel all the fighter's money.

Tyson lost everything he ever earned through Don King and friends. And those who don'[t play the game are shut out and can't get good fights.

It's sick. Fighters are like whores and promoters are the pimps.

  • Damn thats fucked up.... Mike was so young and he didn't know nothing about controlling money or anything so Dons stupid dumbass took advantage of him...it was like taking candy from a 2 yr old.

  • @jaehood109 - There's a fighter named John Duddy who's popular in New York. He was getting screwed by his managers for most of his career, but I believe he's not with them anymore. He was making big paydays - like $60,000 to $200,000 pretty early in his career since he has a good Irish fan base - but he saw nothing close to that. Additionally, his managers stopped giving him the weekly living allowance they were supposed to give him under their contract.

  • @MrDubmaker yup thats true don king used mike

  • @MrDubmaker I think he did have great natural talent, but you have to acknowledge that what really made him great was that he trained so hard. In the interview on Oprah with Tyson and Holyfield, Evander said as an amateur he could see that Mike was out working him and he couldn't believe it. He could not believe that someone could work harder than him, but Mike did. And when he quit working hard, that's when he started to lose.

  • @bigdatut That a very fair point. Its no secret that he did train less and enjoyed his status more once Cus died. This is seen in his boxing style in the later fights.

  • @bigdatut fuck yeah

  • @MrDubmaker Tyson was more than raw talent, he was very technically sound early in his career, many people forget that. He became more raw as his career wore on and he stopped working hard.

  • @ABauersMusic Hi Mate. I totally agree. I was referring to his ability to learn and master skills in the way he did early on. His dedication to training no doubt helped him along (a lot!!!) but from what I have read he learned very quickly and Cus was able to mould him to perfection (or maybe almost perfection!!). This came before he was able to apply those skills in the ring. He was (until it all went wrong) a ver sound technical fighter.

  • @MrDubmaker if he was robbed by anybody it was by the chik who cried rape, he was done after that.

  • @MrDubmaker Well said!

  • ya, as huge tyson fan I thougt allso this fight was little bad from tyson I have never saw him fight like this

  • Very clumsy performance from Tyson. Wild, amateurish swings, and the slip was especially embarrassing.

This looked more like a Butterbean fight than a Tyson fight.

  • no head movement either, and no combos..

  • I agree he made mistakes and bad choices but he had a lot of bad advice from people riding of him. I agree as his career went on he lacked movement but in his earlier fights he had plenty of head movement, slipped shots and worked his way in nicely. He was not perfect but had plenty of raw talent. Less naturally talented fighters with less heart have done quite nicely and get respected. Like I say, respect for what he achieved.

  • SHit after that slip that just pissed him off.....and if i was Steward i could have just left the ring RUNNING LOL

  • Mike looked like a beast on the comeback trail. He showed he could still gut it out vs Razor 2 times. Fuck Desiree Washington
