  • They broke up a few years back. But check out Polkadot Cadaver, El Creepo and Knives Out.

  • Why isn't this band massive?

  • I'm in love

  • Crazyyy

  • is this the real music video?

  • DFD played 2 Baltimore shows in Jun, both shows sold out w/many international fans in attendance. Day 1 they played Anarchists of Good Taste in it's entirely and other DFD goodies. Day 2 they played Adultery in it's enirety and other DFD goodies. DFD should reunite and take these 2 shows on the road. Polkadot Cadaver draws small crowds, El Creepo and Alter Boys don't tour and Tom Maxwell will not be joining Knives Out which leaves the future of this band up-in-the-air.

  • This makes me think of an American version of Candy Spooky Theater. :)

  • DFD list their main "influences" as SOAD, Clutch, Mr. Bungle and Tool. Good live footage of their Jun 24/25 2011 shows in Baltimore. Go to Dog Fashion Disco Bourbon St. on youtube. Sound is OK not great. They're the greatest band most people never heard of!

  • this is just beautiful.

  • I cant tell you how much I love Dog Fashion Disco......and this song.....Thanks for posting. =)

  • Omg yes.

  • i dont think i should listen to this song while on acid lol

  • THERE GOING TO HELL

  • @NOBAMAftw Which rhyming part? Did mr bungle invent rhyming?

  • @kralle333 I think he's talking about the bridge part that starts at 1:33ish and ends around 2:18. The vocal pattern does sound pretty similar to the ones used in Carousel, but that's not exactly plagiarism. More like influence.

  • @CourtJackal001 Not even influence. IT IS JUST RHYMING

  • @kralle333 I think you missed the point...the pattern and melody are very similar. Its more than just rhyming, its borrowing of ideas. Like when a poet uses an earlier poets rhyme scheme in their own work; The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe for example. If you truly believe that DFD wasn't influenced by Mr. Bungle, I honestly do not know how to help you my friend.

  • @SO4everD no...

  • @SO4everD I puked a little in my mouth.

  • @AEsirProdigies LMAO!...perfect response to a comment dripping with such blasphemy...you earned that thumbs up :)

  • Hey, does anyone know what album this song is from??

  • @malleries Commited to a Bright Future, i believe

  • Unique, Creative, Absolute Genius!

  • @hydheadbanger

yeah! dog fashion disco is AWESOME!

  • Saw these guys at Culture Room in Ft Lauderdale FL wayyyyy back in 2001, think they played w/MSI

  • I saw DFD in 2000 while home on leave. Best live show I've ever seen. KingCrimson776 has got his head so far up his arse that it's staring at tomorrows turd.

  • It's simply amazing the infantile posts by cretins who know nothing abt DFD. These shit talkers hide behind their keyboards and spew narrow-minded drivel. Their age exceeds their IQ. One narcissistic shit talker who likes to argue but offers nothing of substance is a Frank Zappa fan. In case u haven't heard, Mr. Bungle ripped-off Zappa and DFD ripped-off Mr. Bungle. Same old moldy comments that have been going on for 15 yrs.

  • Music for kids who play W.O.W. and wear Nightmare Before Christmas shirts... thus, a fitting video

  • when i watch it. it reminds me of playstation 1 cinematics. same graphichs... like Medievil...

  • these videos make me feel high.

  • Awesome vid n song ...if u like this check there other bands out , polkadot cadaver ,el creepo, the alter boys, knives out ..all amazing

  • Oompa Loompa Doo be de doo?

  • just to say they're now in the band Knives Out

  • @AzureBladeFan1 just to ask but didn't a band memeber from nothing face join up with todd and jasan to help create knives out.. p.s. hope they finish there first album, sucks that they have only have four songs out.. can understand because they are strill working on polkadot cadaver and will be officially liscensed by next year, also thought it was cool how my step dad when he was 21, had a couple of drinks with Jasan after their live performance in Baltimore as DFD and said he was a great guy..

  • @twitticker2Me i dont know completely about Knives Out, sorry.

  • So did you make this vid yourself or is it Dog Fashion Disco's actual vid?

  • Found out this band by Mushroom Cult song...

  • @Deadreavah me2 :D If i couldn't download music illegally i would never have bought/heard their music

  • @kralle333 XD Im only sixteen, so i missed this age of music...

I have a wild and good trained imagination, but this... i wouldn't have even thought about this kind of video!

  • reminds me of mushroomhead/soad/merylin manson

  • im listening to this wondering how ive never heard these guys before. theyre sick!

  • does anyone else get the umper lumper tune at the start

  • first time I actually listened to these guys...very reminiscent of Mr. Bungle...awesome

  • @gooseGWAR Mr. Bungle FTW!

  • OMG this is definetly something to watch on e xD also try zombie kitties ;D

  • Trippy as shit

  • from my hometown :D

  • I love how some of thier song titles refer to drugs eg Mushroom Cult

  • nice! this song / video is freeking EPIC! it reminds me of the good old daze tripping on some killer clean lsd, how they swirch from a nightmare before christmas feeel to hardcore metal soundd... kickazz!!! they even mention and give props to Doctor Timothy Leary

  • support polkadot cadaver (Todd and Jasan of DFD) and get the new album Sex Offender

  • @cathalc08 love that album, especially the song sea grave.... the funny thing is i went to that concerts.. it was at peabodies rock club in cleaveland, OH.. it was fucking great. remember how in the opening bands there was a chick up on stage dancing with a mini skirt while goin commando... at that moment I heard the lead singer from vent say "looks like i got the best view in cleveland".. thought it was funny. even got " thelast super" poster signed from Jasan and recieved a hand shake from him

  • @XevilfingersX Science

  • Sounds like Danny Elfman meeting System of a Down for a few beers and a healthy dose of Salvia Divinorum ... great, GREAT stuff! :)

  • @SatyreIkon yeah, acid and avant-garde metal can be like that.

  • @SatyreIkon dude, it fucking does.

  • @SatyreIkon What is salvia divinorum

  • @SatyreIkon

Y'know. I thought of playing guitar post-salvia smoking however all the shadows turned into bricks.

  • I posted something about my thoughts on this video and Nightmare Before Christmas on Reddit a while ago. Avant-Garde will never be this good again unless Polkadot Cadaver keeps evolving like they originally did. I still love Polkadot, but this is just the shit. Nobody will ever mix genres like DFD did.

  • @KeifusBocephus

    isnt avant garde always changing...

its not like there's a specific style or set of rules that say what avant garde is

and everything is subjective, including taste in music and styles

  • @SatyreIkon you know, a guy from Danny's band Oingo Boingo played with Mr. bungle. :D

  • what album is this from?

  • @ZeroOdyssey acid memoirs is on committed to a bright future.

  • Does anyone else think DFD should get together with Danny Elfman and Tim Burton + write a sequal to "the Nightmare Before Christmas?"

  • Sounds like my life story.

  • Oompa loompa doopade doo.

  • @kralle333 make a special road trip!! :) i'm driving there from Ohio, which isn't too far, but it would make a great trip to the states if you could come!

  • @xXTaraMascaraXx I dont have that kind of money hehe

  • Okay when I got this song off iTunes it gave me the song Deja vu

  • I got this song off iTunes and it sounds completely different same with pogo the clown

  • @axljacoby there are a few different versions :)

  • @kngdomhearts13. Congrats on discovering the greatest band ever! Enjoy the brilliance and creativity of DFD. Start w/Anarchists of Good Taste (my favorite) then the epic album Adultery. All their albums are mind boggling and DFD never made a bad song, it's all good.

  • Wtf is with the video? .....o.O

  • this is so weird

  • DFD REUNION JUNE 24th and 25th IN BALTIMORE!!!

  • @xXTaraMascaraXx I dreamed that they reunited and toured aalborg. Wish it was true :(

  • The intro reminds me of Alice in Wonderland. And I'm kind of scared why.

  • @hidethefetus and fodass666. Enough of the Bungle vs. DFD shit. They're both great bands, u like Bungle fine, I prefer DFD. End of conversation!

  • Stop saying this band has anything to do with Mr. Bungle, because they don't

  • @kralle333 dFd is heavily influenced by mr. b

  • @BonedoctorNT No they are influenced by them, doesnt make them sound the same. Does Mr bungle sound like oingo boingo?

  • @kralle333 if you can't see how dfd sounds like mr. b well then there's no hope, have fun listening to oingo boingo.

  • @BonedoctorNT Hope for what?

  • @kralle333 not not licking toads

  • @BonedoctorNT What are you smoking? mr bungle sounds like shit compared to this.

  • Mr. Bungle would be proud!

  • @Deathbivouac. For me, DFD filled the void left after Bungle packed it in after 3 albums. DFD produced 7 studio albums, 1 live album, DOTD EP,2 DVD's and scored the Exorcist Dominion film, Have you listened to Satan's March from the movie? Bungle was talented but I prefer DFD. Someday a movie will be made using the epic tunes from Adulyery. DFD toiled for 10 1/2 yrs in relative obscurity, toured relentlesslyand never sold-out. DFD is far superior to Bungle in all aspects, JMHO!

  • @dfd4ever umm Mr. bungle had more than three albums dude!

  • i'm not a big fan of this group, but at the same time i am. i have a shit ton of fun listenin to this shiat. the lyrics can make random things make sense "as pink flamingos lay dead on the ground"

not my favorite band, but really fuckin high up their... i'd say second favorite, first is marilyn manson. but anyways, both those bands SEVERELY change up the music, which is AWESOME!!! different stories, and put the type of music that fits best with the lyrics... and vice versa =P

  • I'm one of the AT LEAST hundreds of people who gave these guys a chance because of Mushroom Cult, and this is fantastic. Now can you make space-time stop seizuring?

  • @zeekyboogydoog826 this is almost better than mushroom cult...Idk between SOAD and DFD there both amazing!

  • I fucking love this song!

  • DFD never made a bad song! They're all epic, some more so than others. Today's younger generation, tired of Justin Bieber and the garbage that passes for music are discovering DFD and most get hooked after 1 listen. Adultery is still my favorite album of all time and might be the best album ever produced in an genre.

  • @dfd4ever Replace DFD with Mr. Bungle, and Adultery with any of their 3 studio albums and I'll gladly agree with you (that's not to discredit DFD at all, they were a solid group, but a blatant imitation of Mr. Bungle with some Faith No More thrown in the mix).

  • This song is way old, takes me back. Great memories. To bad this is one of their only good songs.

  • What album is this from?

  • @SVTDEMON420 commited to a bright future

  • @SVTDEMON420 commited to a bright future

  • first time hearing these guys but their actuallu really good!

  • im freakin addictedddd O.o MWUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • 12 people are covered in flies and afterbirth.

  • I love this song so much!

  • 12 people need to get a round house to the face.

  • dude its even better on an actual trip

  • Visions so clearly of Timothy Leary,

    The godfather of the movement.!

  • 11 haters out there, have never had an epic acid trip like this. lol

  • hahaha wtf? why does this remind me of a cracked out primus? lol oh well man im still down.

  • Respond to this video... cool band

  • I think if i ever made music all i would sing about is lsd :P

  • Good stuff. It's a shame their newer stuff is becoming too much like normal standard music.

  • my favorite video online so far a++ has a sound of the manson version of " this is halloween " im not a fan of the other vids ive found but wow this one beats out system of a down in my humble opinion

  • amazing

  • awesome!

  • great!!!!

  • i like i like

  • Most under rated band of all time! even more under rated than mr bungle. im a huge fan o mr bungle, but dog fashion disco is incredible!

  • They have an interesting style

  • So....the guitarist, Greg Combs, is my physics teacher....

I just found out about his old band today, this is very strange...

  • @KrissyKore Haha awesome

  • @kralle333 WHAO! You are so lucky! This is one of my favorite bands!

  • @pitpride1986 Lucky?

  • @KrissyKore Bitch you can suck my cock i saw Mr. Combs today at Warren

  • @JaKexSyN 1) Ew. 2) What's your point? I just said he was my physics teacher, obviously that means you would most likely run into him at school.

  • @KrissyKore Lol, i was kiddddiiiinnnnng(: But he really was my physics teacher too haha :D

  • @KrissyKore your teacher is an acid trip no offense

  • @KrissyKore lol be proud ^_^

  • @KrissyKore were do you go to school because I am transferring.

  • @KrissyKore

You'd better not give him any shit. This band is awesome.

  • @KrissyKore

that is sweet, i would be honored to be in his class, loved the band since Anarchists of Good Taste. :)

  • @KrissyKore lucky!

  • @KrissyKore What does he teach?

  • @KrissyKore you...lucky...BASTARD! O.O

  • @KrissyKore That is so amazing!

  • @KrissyKore He's My physics teacher now :) I took his Pre-AP Physics class this Year ! He showed us some video in class, who knew he was a badass ?

  • other than live in baltimore...what cd is this song on? btw..it sounds so different when ur used to hearing the live version and then listening to this version XD either way i like this song...

  • alrighty. i dont know what to think. watch this on full screen on shrooms or after being up for 48 hours straight or more, and you tell me.

  • DFD resemble FNM more than Bungle. Bungle had great moments, DFD made great music, all their songs are epic. The last lineup was the best by far. Todd, Jasan, Brian, Jeff and John. All great musicians! They are indeed the best band ever!

  • AMAZING!!!! Best band ever...also check out Polkadot Cadaver, another project of the singer, very much like DFD...

  • anyone know when theyre coming to california? much thanks to you

  • Show this Saturday!!!!!

  • i think i just came across a winner, definetly checking these guys out

  • Satan, Ray Charles, Jesus and Optimus Prime were bored and decided to have a hard, raving, drugged up flesh orgy.

The spawn was Dog Fashion Disco.

    (Satan was the mother.)

  • My brain always get destroyed after hearing DFD.

    Damn, I love them <3.

  • 1:30 fucking awsome

  • Love it.

  • I AM THE WITNESS

    I AM MOHAMED

    I AM THE ELEPHANT MAAAAAAN

    damn I love this song

  • They sound like a tamer less-weird version of The Residents.

    But awesome nonetheless.

  • this video makes me feel like im on an acid trip... lol

  • genere?

  • The Apr 17th show should be epic, Knives Out and Polkadot Cadaver opening for my favorite band. Live on the left coast so won't be able to make it,. Hope lots of youtube stuff is posted.

  • i will try to make sure i get a lot of stuff, i'm usually in the pit though..

  • DFD reunion show on april 17th in baltimore at the ottobar!!!!!!!! i'm driving from by cleveland to go!! who's in?

  • LUCKY BLOODY YANKS!

  • fuck i wanna go....im in michigan!

  • I dont care if its the wrong lyrics... it sound f'kin awesome...

  • as i watched the tv, my dog speeking to me... telling me im going insane

  • makes me wana eat a fat 10 strip

  • singer sounds so much like patton its kind of scary

  • he sounds a lot like patton...

  • this reminds me of Travis Morley, so so much.

  • Daxx Riggs still plays live alot. He even has some "newer" albums out. Add him on myspace and he puts out updates.

  • three missable bands of past times. In order Lollipop Lust Kill, Dog Fashion Disco, Acid Bath. We need more music such as these bands.

  • @aorionvyr i totally agree with u on that

  • @aorionvyr Well said.

  • @aorionvyr Daxx Riggs from Acid Bath still plays often and is putting out new music frequently. He has shows in Dallas all the time at these little hole in the wall places. Its really quite good to see him in such a small venue. Talking to him and all that he really is a personable guy.

  • DFD is the phucking schiznit!

  • may that tool who thumbed me down get a thumb up their ass

  • Indeed truely amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • made me come in me trousers.... this song did... indeed...indeedie.
