Honestly. I never saw the harmony between lyrics, melodies and performing the same way I found in Balkan music. I never saw such attachment with God and Nature except for their songs. I never saw such humane and passionate singers such as the Balkan ones. I'm not influenced by this song only; I have been listening to Balkan songs and folklore for more than 10 years, and willing to listen more and more, as long as I seek the decent and exalt art.

You've missed a bit.

The choir sings: God heard her, created dove eyes and falcon wings.

If you want to use 'love', the end should read 'a boy whom she loved' (both verbs, find and love, should be in past simple). How about 'a boy to suit me/her', 'a boy for me/her' or something? :-)

You have to be born in the balkans to really understand the meang of the music and the words. First you have to understand that bulgarians lived 500 years under turkish crude rule and they massacred bulgarians and christians throuout all balkans...
