  • so did u wash or co wash your hair before u went thru the detangling process

    ?

  • When your hair was neck length. Whenever your hair dried did it dry in a fro or did you use something to allow it to dry in its curl pattern

  • Look at all of that beautiful natural hair.

  • 30 min !, it takes me 2 hours.

  • i know this is an old video but helllllooooo hair twin!! I've never seen a head of hair so similar to mine! Love your channel!

  • wow..i just watched your more recent video & your hair grew soooo much!!!

  • @TheK12student that's not 4b. go research honey.

  • cute!!

  • my quick way of dealing with tangles is cutting huge amounts of my hair out... lol perhaps i need to learn better management???

  • "if you're in pain lol"

  • i am transition and so far i have about an inch of natural hair and my hair texture looks like this, very very very curly. i am still learning but what do you do for deep conditioning or was this part of the detangling process?

  • You should b more gentle on your hair.

  • what product did you use , your hair is beautiful !

  • You're soo beautiful and so is your hair!!! When I seen this on curlynikki I thought..."my hair looks just likes hers (but way shorter lol)!"..im growing out my hair naturally after too much hair abuse. thanks!!

  • Even with the new products you use, do you still detangle this way?

  • Girl your hair is sooo beautiful!! Great videoo♥♥

lovinn that twist out too :)

  • this was very helpful. your hair is washed, conditioned w/ the conditioner rinsed out? and then applied the leave in conditioner and oil to get desired twist out style?

  • My hair texture is different than yours. Im not really sure what you would call it but I know when I wash it, it doesn't look like yours. What I want to know is if I did this same technique would my hair look similar to yours?

  • What do your ends feel like? Do you have any single strand knots? My ends feel rough cause I have a lot of them :P should I cut them? My hair reaches my shoulders when straightened, but shrinks above my ears

  • @InTheDark43 sounds like your hair is a 4c like mine. My hair is pass my shoulders but with shrikage when I wash it they are the size of a springe of a pen and it shrinks to the size of florida evans from good times

  • Wow i love all your videos! lol i sound like a fan! i feel like i can do all your videos bc we have the exact same hair texture which is soo helpful :) thanks this is such a money saver (shops and what not) being natural and its beautiful!

  • Thank you thank you thank you! Due to leaving the work force and moving to a small town, I had to cut out my perm a while back. I have had a terrible time maintaining it, to say the least. The last time I detangled, the hair that came out could've filled a gallon size ziploc (NO LIE). It was a matted mess. I found your videos, bought some Shea butter and did it again. The hair that came out could fit in the palm of my hand! I shed tears of joy! Thank you so much for helping me with my hair!

  • Oh and try baba de carocal it's a dominican deep conditioner, it makes the comb glide through ur hair like nothing else. I've tried it recently.

  • Omg u r my hair twin ! Lol so glad I found ur channel itz gonna help me alot

  • you can shake your booty to this background music

  • I disagree. Her hair is curly even without wearing a twistout. Her hair appears to be in the 3 category. It is curly not kinky. Maybe since we made up 4z she is a 3z but her hair is naturally curly. That is not any kind of 4 hair.

  • Do you still use LIVE conditioner in you hair?

  • @musiclover77able I have coarse 4a/4b hair as well so maybe you were just agreeing and sharing. :)

  • @musiclover77able That's what I said spring size curl or coil, the definition I found said both. Didn't say that 4a was anything different or that you didn't have 4a/4b. I don't know if you mention that in defense to something or just to share it. But if it was in defense please read my comment and I definitely agreed.

  • @musiclover77able But yea, I'm 4a with course hair. I use shea butter, olive oil, and conditioner to make my curls pop. Shea butter keeps my hair from drying since I now leave the conditioner in. I was using eco gel but my hair started to have a negative affect my hair started to become really dry. Reverting back to shea butter is such a huge difference and it looks better than using the gel. it is also much softer and moisturized.

  • @musiclover77able you are right. It's the curl pattern not texture. 4a is pen size curls or coils and you can visibly see that it is curly no matter how small the curls are. 4b is more zig zag, various kinks, and less curls, 4c is someone with really has no curl pattern or almost thick straight hair, looks almost like a blow out.

I say this cause people make youtube videos trying to give advice on hair types and in the end they don't know there's or how it behaves. But I'm glad she does. :)

  • Thank you! I finally see what texture category my hair is in. Thank you :) Jesus loves you and I do too!

  • My hair texture is similar to yours but the only problem i have after doing a twist out is the frizziness after I take it down. What can I do to prevent that?

  • LOL you're hair is so freakin' curly! it's cute. :)

  • Can you do an updated detangle for longer 4a hair

  • an you do an updated detangle for longer 4a hair

  • Would you ever do a flexi rod set. If so can you do one? Please

  • you should bye a detangler comb

  • I'm new to your videos, but it is so cool to see how much your hair has grown from this this video to the most recent one. Congrats! I'm learning from your creativity.

    Keep it up :)

  • wish my hair was 4a :(...detangling my hair is like working a construction job for me

  • @aren8484I understand that! I just bought a Tangle Teezer in faith that it'll help et the job done. We'll see what happens :) May God Jehovah bless you :) Jesus loves you and I do too!

  • I love all of your videos

  • love your hair texture.

  • That was really cute! I normally hate twist out type styles, but that was awesome. I'm gonna do that when I'm fully natural.

  • You hair is so healthy. When you were detangling there was no hair in the comb. How do you keep your hair so strong?

  • Thanks JoiDior! Def keep in moisturized and protected. I also used a lot of product to help with the "slip" <3

  • how long does this take ?? :)

  • Hey ChelleyFresh01, it was a loong time ago, but I think it took about 30 mins.. <3

  • You have some gorgeous 4a hair but I would rip my hair out detangling like this. Your hair must be strong!

  • Lol! Thanks SGmom2! Now that it's longer, I have to be more gentle with it!

  • Hey MissCinnamonCake! Aw, thank you! I have actually changed my products since then, but the method is basically the same. The only difference is that now I use shea butter! <3

  • how often do you use the flaxseed gel? thanks for the repost!

  • Hey rizahovca! Not too often! Only when I wet my hair or don't feel like twisting it.. probably about 5 times a month, if that <3

  • Your techniques gave me a new found love for my hair. I was ready to BC again! Thank you!! I think you are my hair twin. If I twist on wet hair my shrinkage takes over..Love your hair!

  • Your techniques gave me a new found love for my hair. I was ready to BC again! Thank you!!

  • Hey sweetdrk1! Aw thanks so much! I am so happy I could help you on your way again! p.s. LOVE your profile pic! The twists are gorgeous! <3

  • I'm having some major concerns with detangling now. Makes me not even want to wash my hair. I have a twa and my hair is really fine. I'm afraid putting a comb to it is just breaking my hair off. I only detangle with conditioner in my hair but doesn't seem to matter. Any suggestions??? I need helpppp

  • Hey LuvinLyfe052 hmm, are you sectioning your hair before attempting to detangle. It makes all the difference. I have another vid where I show a routine I used to do with to wash my hair in the shower, (it's called 'Washing Natural Hair: Updated Routine for Maintaining Natural Hair').. Try taking a look at that... even though I don't use that routine anymore, it still might help you... HTH! <3

  • do you still use Liv?

In way the re-uploads are nice cuz I can see vids I haven't seen before or don't remember

  • Haha, thanks NotoriousLYNappy1! I'm so glad you like the re-uploads, you know, it is nice to go back to the beginning.. I don't use the liv anymore, nor the trader joes or miss jessies, just the shea butter, mud wash, and flax seed gel <3

  • Your hair is so beautiful!!
