Post Accutane 2 months After

Your acne scars faded away? Is that maybe a side effect of taking Accutane, or did you get lucky?

I just started the med and wanted to know if I have to get any acne scar removal treatment after this whole process (isn't that bad, but important enough for me to take an active stance).

Yep, hispanic. and the stuff did work for me with minimal discomfort. So glad I didn't go blind or any of the other crazy stuff you hear about on these drugs.

Okay, so I am about 3 months off accutane and maybe it's just me lol but my skin and my hair is more oily than it was before accutane. My lips were very dry during accutane but my skin and hair/scalp was not, in fact I would call it normal for once in my life... so sad (and gross lol). What is weird is my skin is oily but I'm not breaking out at all. Anyone else experiencing this?

iv been off for about a month and a half.... and it ws all going good but about a week ago is saw a few small breka out of exetremely small pimples.. should i be worried? is this a sign of my acne coming back... or is this ok.. can anyone plz tell me... i just need to know if i need to take action or not..

hey im 15 and i really had savere cases of acne when i was in elementry school. i still have bad cases of acne though. my dermotologist recommended antibiotics and they didnt really help me out. im planning to take accutane but im scared about the side effects.. will this medication change my grades in school .? i am on accutane right now and i am using cerave face wash. its super moisturizing

I loved cerave. I'm off Accutane, and still use it occasionally.

Congratulations you're done! I have another month to go and I'm so excited. I'm only worried that I will have dry, peely skin even after I stop. Do you have to use lotion every day now? Any other lingering side effects? Thanks!

I went to my derm this tuesday and got cleared for my third month prescription of the accutane pill called claravis! A couple more months and my skin will be like yours! Yay!
