  • Seems to have pushy problems. Have you fixed them yet?

  • @careylynn1000 He does, this horse has always been like this and not saying that we can't fix the pushiness, but we don't need to. The more he knows me the less pushy he is and therefore the more controllable he is. He's just competitive and has a strong personality. Thanks for asking though!

  • "Mom you are standing right int he line of vision"

"Mom again right in the line of vision" LOL :) Pretty horse :)

  • @HorseGal523 Hahah! I know, my sister's a freak haha. And thank you!!

  • @barrelracerCrAzY Lol he just has a strong personality. I mean don't get me wrong, he can def be a brat sometimes, but its just his personality.

  • @Ridingismypassion Yeah I understand my new horse Peanut is that same way haha but she is really skittish too (she was abused) :( Your horse is really pretty it sorta reminds me of the horse I had when I was younger :)

  • @sunflowergirlz1 Thank you!! And after watching this over and over again I totally see what you mean. Lol I don't know what was wrong with me, I guess I was really nervous, and so was he so I didn't want to play with his emotions too much. I also had never met him before so I was a little nervous, who knows. We're great now though! Haha

  • wowww he is really pretty !!!!

  • @plottluvr07 Thank you!! Yeah, he already has taken me so far, I cannot wait to see what happens in the future :)

  • He is beautiful! Congrats and i hope he takes you far.

  • @horseloverforever323 Thank you! He's not too big, only 15.3, my trainer is short! Haha. However I'm glad you think so :)

  • He's beautiful.... And Huge

  • @101jumpergirl101 I've answered this before, in previous comments. However I wouldn't mind explaining again :) contrary to popular belief, older horses can do everything and more (if properly taken care of) than younger horses. He's taught me SO much so far because of previous training. He is undefeated in training level eventing and would gladly (without being injured) still do so. This horse has the spirit and body of an 8 year old, age is just a number. But thank you, I think he is beautiful.

  • beutiful horse

  • wait y so old though? y not get a younger horse?

  • @Kaliegrl67 Yeah he is pretty I think :) haha. And yes I do jump him when I can. We don't have an indoor so it usually depends on outside conditions but yes I do whenever I can. And which horse to the left?

  • He looks so pretty. DO u jump him? He is amazing. And to the left is that a Welsh Pony?

  • @canziusc1926 Haha he's a pretty good size, about 15.3 (16 on a good day! lol) but yes, my trainer is also significantly shorter than me so that factors in!

  • Either he's really tall... or your trainer is really short. LOL

  • @MsSugardaddies Thank you! I agree.

  • Wow,he is beautiful(:

  • @BreyerChick017 Thank you! Yeah he's the best (: and you never know, maybe you will one day! I don't know if you hear my mom in the background but she was talking about how she was "in denial and said she was NEVER going to give in"... lol guess that failed and now I have my boy, so you never know!

  • what a beauty! I wish I could own my own horse ):

  • @horserider72 Lol yeah his mane is pretty well taken care of! He's only about 15.3hh but my trainer, who's holding him, is pretty short so he looks taller than usual! Haha. However, he is a pretty good size.

  • Wow his mane his so perfect! :) I'm jealous of how tall he is :) how many hands?

  • I love horses

  • @glenwiley Yes he is mine, I own him. My twin sister is filming. :)

  • is he yours who is filming

  • @breyerhorsesrock206 He's a Hanoverian cross with Thoroughbred (:

  • Is he a Quarter horse or Thoroughbred?

  • @jakeford1982 Thank you! Haha yeah he's awesome.

  • i really want that horse

  • I subbed : )

  • @11mscanter haha yeah he does look pretty big here, it might either be cause my trainer is like 5 foot or because when he gets to a new place and is nervous and puffs up and acts all "macho" haha. Lol I told my sister and she laughed!

  • wow he looks like hes 17hh by the way tell your sister i love her commentary! XD

  • @siarrahbabey14 Agreed! This horse is not only teaching me what I need to know for the future about showing, but he's also the most energetic horse when he wants to be (but come on, what horses don't have their lazy days). I would never get a young first horse (personally) because I'd worry about teaching it the wrong thing or it not teaching me enough. Lefty is undefeated at training level eventing and was successful competing in dressage and jumping.... He's taught me so much already.

  • Ok so when you guys were talking about how old your new horse should be, it doesn't matter!:) love your horse no matter what the age! Don't care that he or she isn't the best at shows or the fastest at the barn! A 16 year old horse is a great horse! The horse will still have another good 12 years at least in em! And older horses can still be energetic too! When your buying a horse, think to yourself why you are buying the horse. And you buying it because you just want to compete and show off or

  • @straightupcowgirl13 Thank you!

  • hes really pretty

  • @ruphie813 Haha thank you. I love him, he's taught me a lot. He's the best:)

  • beautiful horse. i want him

  • @Animaluver1612 haha thank you!

  • he is beautiful and haha "mommy your, mommy your standing (puts hand straight out) right in the line of vision"

  • @MyLove4Horses Haha yeah my sister could have just moved to a different angle. Oh well!

  • Lol "Mommy Your Standing RIGHT In Line Of Vison!"

  • @LivandApollox I know! Haha they're great. But they also come in small unpleasant sizes which are not so great :/ haha

  • Woah! The trailers in america are huge! :O

  • @pwettyStawrz He's 15.3, and thank you! I think so too! (:

  • How many hands high is he? He's a very handsom horse :)

  • Well for me I'm experienced and despite his age he has the spirit of a 10 year old (if you can't tell from the video haha). And he just happened to be my right match. Yeah he won't last as long as your 6 year old will, but it's all good to me. I rather have my right match and a horse I get along with then one I don't (: And as of now we're competing in BN eventing and this coming year I'll be doing Novice and schooling in Training level with him. I've been riding for 11 years.

  • @chipgurlable I wanted him because I thought he was beautiful and he has a really strong background in everything I wanted to perfect myself in (jumping, dressage). He doesn't let me make a mistake, which is nice because I learn what I'm doing wrong. As where on a younger horse, they wouldn't care and allow me to make the mistake instead of fixing it (usually). I also knew he would be kind of a challenge for me, and he still has plenty of energy! He is by far my best investment.

  • why did you want a 16yr old horse? jw

  • @chipgurlable why not? is it bad to have a 16yr old horse ..

  • @LandLoop They wont Last as long as a younger horse and they are not gonna move as well when they get older.

  • @chipgurlable Umm horses live for a good 25-30 years. Older horses are GREAT for 1st horses because they are more obedient and I know PLENTY of horses that are old and still love to go on trails and run around in pastures with their buddies. Getting young horses as a 1st would be a bad idea because most of them are green broken, not obedient, and very spirited. People looking for a 1st horse NEED one that will work with them not against them, like young horses.

  • @LandLoop im getting my first horse and she is a 6yr old TB. but you should ride for a while before you get your first horse. like i am experianced and can handle things so i am getting a young horse

  • @chipgurlable Where are you buying him from? Your horse stable? There's 8 year old QH at my horse stable that is being sold so I want to get that one (15.0h). But truthfully, I really don't want a really old horse like an 18 yr old because I am scared I'd get to attached to it then one day I wake up and it died.D: You ride english or western? And how tall is he?

  • @LandLoop From a barn 7miles from mine, i ride english and she is almost 16.3hh

  • @chipgurlable Ahh your so lucky!!!! When are you getting it?? I can't get a horse till the end of this school year. But I'm still excited.

  • @chipgurlable 16 is not old AT ALL. my horse is turning 16 this year and still going 3'6. well taken care of horses can still jump and show well into their 20s

  • @aa14x2 What ever

  • @aa14x2 What ever

  • @aa14x2 My horse is 18 (14.3 QH/Arab/TB red dun) and he's jumping 4'2. They're young at heart. :D

  • @SkyPatronus112 That is exactly right!

  • @mrsmysterygirl123

    Thank you! :)

  • gorgeouse ur luky

  • @eringailfarms I'm the one with the black jacket, much boots and a pony tail. At some point in the video I akwardly walk up to the camera with peace signs.... Haha yeah that's me.

  • which one is u

  • I know! Ugh she's terrible around horses, so scared of them!

  • lmao!! "im not going anywhere near that thing, im scared of it."
