hey i want this camera so bad. my sisters have the sd1100 in blue and brown. its pretty cool the blue looks awesome. is the sd1200 any better? i like the green when your recording but when other people record it it looks kind of wierd. do u think the color is wierd?

ya the canon sd1200 is actually an updated version of the sd1100

the 1200 is smaller and its more updated i think

If you didn't notice, that is not the wrist strap. Its a piece of black string with a tag on it. The wrist strap was in the box, it shows me taking it out ( 2:17 ). So before your going to go write a comment like that on my video, Get your facts straight first.

Battery life is amazing, I have only had it for 2 months and only charged it 2 or 3 times with frequent use. And as for charging time, usually 1-2 hours.

Im going to possibly get this camera in a week and its gonna be my 3rd camera in 2 years .

My first 2 cameras sucked because they produced blurry pictures when I didnt use flash .

So I was wondering ,do the pictures ever get blurry without flash ?

Hi Samstar307, I am pleased to inform you that no, I never get blurry images, they are amazingly clear. As for the battery life, it is great! I got it 2 months ago and been using it quite a bit and have only charged it 2 or so times. This camera is a must have, I love it! As for the disadvantages, there really isn't any, the only one I can think of is when it is in auto mode it auto focuses a lot and makes an annoying noise but just dont use auto mode and i find it works amazing! I hope I helped

Hi, there is like a timer/countdown feature, but no timelapse. It is really sturdy and I think it is metal but it could just be a really hard plastic.

Yes it does have color options. I don't have the camera with me right now but when your on Program mode, click the center button and scroll down and there should be color ones.

I think it is SOO worth it. I've been using it for about 4 days now and i LOVE it. It's so easy to use, it takes great pictures, not sure yet on the video quality but ill be having a video soon on that, and overall ITS GREEN! haha i just like that you have the option for a different as well. But it is your decision, If you have the money i would say go with this one even though it has a smaller screen. I think you would love it.! Hope that helped! Review soon!

Yes that is true, but you don't need to use the auto mode, and im sure you can shut off the focusing in auto mode, i just never tried because i don't use auto.
