These videos are a treasure. They take me back to my childhood fascination with William Kapell. My parents took me to hear him at the summer home of the Chicago Symphony, Ravinia. We sat on the beautiful lawn outside the Pavillion as he played the Prokofiev Third. Later we went backstage to meet that shy but gracious young man. Thank you for giving us these wonderful videos!
No, the Mozart concerto in A K414 is not available in its entirety, but the 2nd and 3rd movements are available on the Music & Arts CD collection "Sunday Evenings with Pierre Monteux: Broadcast Performances from San Francisco, 1941-1952". Kapell's broadcast was on 23 April 1950.
