Unlike Ancient Orthodoxy, the Papal ex opere operato makes sacraments "automatic" operations. Orthodox are people of Faith who believe in the Person Jesus Christ Who saves us. From my very personal point of view, I really don't mind having the Greek Rite in Mexico, but then I try to manage that against the Patriarch of Russia trying to say that all other Rites have to get out of Russia or the same being said in Greece. No history does not say the Latin Church, History says the Byzantine Empire. History says the Orthodox of Russia under the soviets. All I see the Latin Church doing is giving aid and help whenever needed. Our Church leaders are working to the eventual complete and visible reunion of the One Church, but it is the people of these churches that have the problem. The Orthodox that I know in real life are hopeful and joyous over eventual reunion. We can have a bar-b-q together and talk about the Gospels in peace. My friend, The Holy Orthodox Church does not worship icons or saints etc. It is in fact blasphemous and heretical to do so. The Holy Church of Christ teaches this and warns against it. Any Orthodox Christian who does sin and worship "idols" is putting himself/herself against the Holy Orthodox Church and they should be corrected, lest they may desecrate and damage the purity and image of Holy Orthodoxy.

I see youre favorits and I think to my self what a wonderful idea for spanish to come back to Orthodoxy, due o the Romancatholisism commited the most horrific genocid on the spanish people in the inquisition. I heard up to 5 milion people were killed.

I wish all the East had your attitude but for some reason a lot of the people form Estern Churchs will just attack and spout hate at me. Their actions are wrong and I am glad that you point out that it is not in accord with the teachings of your church.

Normally I am very welcoming to the Churches of the East but recent conversation with some of the so called Orthodox have convinced me that the East really does just Hate all the Latins. As such, I feel it upon myself to remind the Orthodox of the words of Alexii of Russia and tell them to stop prostelatyzing in Catholic countries.

No history does not say the Latin Church, History says the Byzantine Empire. History says the Orthodox of Russia under the soviets. All I see the Latin Church doing is giving aid and help whenever needed. Two stories come to mind very quickly, the slaughter of Latins who were coming to Constantinople to help it, and the Patriarch of Constantinople throwing the Body and blood of Jesus on the ground and stepping on it, thus denying Chirst.

who cares who is catholic or orthodox! when the catholic and orthodox priest says the words of consencration, is it a orthodox jesus that appears in the orthodox litergy and in the catholic mass a catholic jesus? Are you one church or not? who make you one? the valid sacraments? anybody should be able to choose to recieve the sacraments orthodox or catholic style. your spat is 1,000 years too old and you make more people into athiests! without jesus your churches are crap! bless each other, ok?

Our Church leaders are working to the eventual complete and visible reunion of the One Church, but it is the people of these churches that have the problem. The Orthodox that I know in real life are hopeful and joyous over eventual reunion. We can have a bar-b-q together and talk about the Gospels in peace. Here, on the internet is where the hate is building and it is getting to the point now where I don't want reunion if it means accepting such hateful poeple.

great cult. after the Masonic conquest the first schools, hospitals and markets were owned by the roman catholic church and controlled by secret societies (jesuits, behemians etcetera) for brainwashing purposes. mayans, aztecs, indians never died they simply believe in different crap now. same goes with the rest of the poor countries with yankee doodle beliefs.

My friend, The Holy Orthodox Church does not worship icons or saints etc. It is in fact blasphemous and heretical to do so. The Holy Church of Christ teaches this and warns against it. Any Orthodox Christian who does sin and worship "idols" is putting himself/herself against the Holy Orthodox Church and they should be corrected, lest they may desecrate and damage the purity and image of Holy Orthodoxy.

And also to sit in church is blasphemie!!orthodox christians are not allowed to sit inthe holy Temple!!
It is also an apostilc tradition that women with covered hair and moderate clothing have to stand seperated on the left side and man on the right!!

It is good to bring holy Orthodoxy to foreign countries but they should teach them true orthodoxy. Orthodoxy is not to have beautiful icons and good chatings it is to life a life pleasing to God!!In the greek church many bad things are introduced !!in a russian church women are not allowed to enter the Holy Tempel with short dresses and uncovered hair but also man should be dressed moderatly! Look they introduce even the papal calender!!
