I love this - saw it as a kid in the early 80's and it is seared into my memory. Glad you posted this - you wouldn't by any chance have another one called "Manbeast: Myth or Monster?"
this michelin-man says:"makes the world more exciting!" bullshit - as long he gets chocolate and cakes his world is exciting. he has no knowledge about the real deal. living in box with nonsense in his skull...
This is awesome! I had this on tape from A&E about 20 years ago when they were a good channel. Sadly my tape has long since died so I greatly appreciate seeing it again. Thanks so much for posting this in its entirety.
The Mysterious Monsters is kindof an expanded version of this program with much of the exact same footage but also with footage not seen on this program. I prefer this one even though it is shorter because Rod Serling is a better narrator than Peter Graves, IMHO anyway. Both are very interesting viewing however.
It might take some time but I can. I don't know how high the demand is now considering thet you can get "The Mysterious Monsters" on dvd now. Know what I mean?
the narrarator reminds me of the guy from futurama who hosts "the Scary Door" he sounds and talks just like him :D

Rod Serling & Robert Stack were both beasts when it came to narrating a show!!

@ManlnCognito LOCH lol! Yeah I agree. Even the tourism's said to have died a death. It was just weird water currents and shady light.

They don't make good documentaries like this anymore :(. The ones made today just end up with nothing. Here in this you can feel the fear.

@TheLuisberg I agree, it brings the chills today just as it did for me so many years ago!!! Maybe Rod Serling has something to do with that LOL.

Smithsonian are cunning. I believe they have carcasses of sea monsters and giant humans and have them hidden in their secret vaults

Massively entertaining and in my opinion still the best documentary ever made concerning the subject of cryptozoology.
