I wish this was shot at 30 frames per second, then we would be able to enjoy and admire all the more his near flawless execution of this wonderful piece of music!!!
He's the only one who really sounds like he's having fun. And the improvisations? Why not... I'm sure Liszt never played any piece the same way twice.
@ivelosthewilltolive: It's good he's having fun...for what sould music be? For torture? For fast fingers? Of course for fun and delight...
I like his improvisations...it only proves that he has really specific approach to the music, and loves music...Liszt was from absolutely different era...some of today's "musicians" aren't musicians as Liszt or Cziffra was...So big pity that we don't have Cziffras and Liszts eternally! We always must wait for new prodigy...
Who could play a Hungarian Rhapsody better than a Hungarian? and what better Hungarian to choose than the grade Cziffra? I'm a Romanian, but I have deep respect for the Hungarian culture, especially since we have so many things in common (like Bela Bartok, for ex.)

Hmm, Alexei Grynyuk's version is a bit better imo.

I believe that Cziffra is the re-incarnation of Liszt himself!! He is so awesome.
