You should have taken down HIS licence and then gone down to the police station and sworn out an affidavit an dhad a ticket issued, It is ILLEGAL to park a vehicle on the sidewalk. An Emergency vehicle could park on the sidewalk in an emergency, however, a photo radar vehicle could not be considered an emergency vehicle as it is not equipped to handle emergencies, i.e. not the appropriate light warning system, no siren, P.A. System etc.

The cops don’t need to hid. 20 years ago where I use to lived the cops use to park on the street with two cars one working each way with the 4 ways going and still write 4 or 5 tickets per cop car and hour in the school zone.

I know, its gettin crazy here in the valley, scameras in a lot of intersections, freeways loaded with perm and mobile units. We travel up north quite a bit, and a lot of the smaller towns have scameras installed now, plus a few have the mobile units. This unit placement is putting the lives of children in danger.

THE DREADED FLASH. No one likes them, not even cops, they get busted from them too, even if they're on an "emergency call" they only get 5 mph more.
Many municipalities have banned them, so we just need some more folks like you and 4409 and the cameras will be gone, and everyone will be happier :)
