Won,t you stop saying broadview security is better then ADT and DSC these systems give you a delay time,oh AND I DON,T CARE ABOUT SINGLE BUTTON OPERATION!
See, usually if you title a vid 'DIY... types of home security systems,' that means you aren't going to spend the whole entire vid talking about one single professionally installed system.
@rirdrifta Wow, you really aren't bright are you? DIY stands for "Do It Yourself", true. But that doesn't mean you solder (doubt you know how to read a circuit anyway) it means you install it by yourself without a professional service. Think before you comment, please.
@TimmyCoProductions Do not insult my intelligence first of all. I will bet you money that I can read a schematic and make the circuitry for it. Next in the video the guy is talking about paying somebody to install this system for you this act does not make this video DIY. This is why I call him a fucking fag. I am going to call you a stupid fag because you are agreeing with what I am saying you and you are not smart enough to realize that this video is asking you to pay for pro installation.
I work for ADT and DSC isn't so bad. It's not as user friendly as an Ademco. It's also harder to troubleshoot when the customer isn't familiar with the system. If I were to buy one, I'd get an Ademco Lynx or an Ademco iCentre which is pretty much the touchscreen version of the Safewatch 3000
it doesn't look like that keypad is powered up, lol. there should be at least one LED on.
DSC 1555 or 5010 (shown here) makes a good HW system, WL not so good. Ademco Vista 15P, 20P makes a good HW and WL system. Caddax/GE HW'd systems are good too, not sure about their WL though.
He could have keypad blanking enabled which means no back lighting or LEDs on till you press a key then it turns on .... then goes back off after 30 seconds of inactivity.
i was expecting a test... wasted 1min34sec of my life!

Stop Thieves Before They Get In!
Cameras and alarms are great but neither can stop a determined thief.
Protecting your doors is the first measure of security you should consider.
The FBI says every 12 seconds a home is invaded by going right through the front door.
Start with our product Steel Door Armor
Easy 1-2-3 step installation.
Requires -No Cutting NoRouting No- Chiseling

you fucking fag this is not do it your self
doing yourself is by using a soldering iron and getting burned not paying somebody to come to your house to install the security system for you
diy if you didn't know stands for do it yourself

@rirdrifta Companies like DSC panel shown in this vid will never give out an installation manual to a home user . For liability purposes.

For the jerk off who said DSC blows ....
DSC is one of the best alarm systems out there ... just not as user friendly when it comes to the installation manual.
They have gotten better and the newer PC1616, PC1832, PC1864 manual is much easier to understand than the older system manuals.
The DSC 9047 wireless system is so easy to install that a monkey could do it ... hehe.

DSC isn't bad, Paradox is better. But the BEST is Inner Range Concept.
