  • Again you make me think :)

  • You can blame my grandfather this time. :P

  • Very wise he was. Thanks for sharing, Cathy.

  • You're welcome John.

  • there is a strong magnetic pole within the heart where electron dreams gravitate like moth to flame that state , that when the dream is over the heart is awake ?

  • :-)

  • idle speculation ? , wow perfect timing. i just got it ,

  • Britons were at once time automatons, that's why us Americans left the place

  • This is so absurd as to not even be funny.

  • I dunno. I'm still laughing. Most of my family came over from Germany.

  • Funny, so did half of mine. They nearly ended up in New York as well.

  • wow!! as I sat down to login to youtube I was thinking much the same thing, about those who are religious, and those who are not, and their view of each other. As you probably know there are a great many videos on youtube on the subject, most are 2 dimensional and unkind, I came to much the same concussion as to why *****stars; )

  • In a way that's what surprised me the most, how very current it is. It's very apt for now.

  • PS I hope the concussion gets better soon. ;)

  • stray thoughts that found there way home

  • Indeed.

  • Wow =)

it sounds Like you wrote it, C. the energy is past on in waves. the apple never falls far from the tree ( saying) your mother's thinking was influenced by his now yours was influenced by hers. DNA ties of the mind to boot around a little. a Shared time expanding within, more then a picture but depth in black and white. Well planted Roots, Seeds the mind well.

very tired here =) hope i'm making some sense. Stray thoughts :p

Just Enjoyed fully and Thanks for sharing him with us.=)

  • It does sound like I wrote it, that's the weird thing. My mothers thinking had comparisons, but some totally different, yet mine and his largely seem to mirror each other. Very odd.

  • He knew what he was talkin about, and of course, the NTs didn't listen, now children are saying the same things, and guess what's still going on?

"All our opinions are governed by self. "

Oh yes, pretty much, I'm working on getting out of that habbit myself.

    "Wise man, my grandfather"

    One word: lightworker

    get the drift?

  • Indeed. Or some such. He was certainly plugged in, that's for sure.

  • Comment removed

  • something hip about his use of "groove."

  • lol Yes.

  • Strawberry ice cream wins tbh.

  • Total Butt Hole ?

  • Stray thoughts...

  • wow. that's great to have such a close connection with your grandfather- in his own handwriting! my grandfather was too busy running booze , chasing women & running from the law. and i don't think he had time to learn to read & write.

enigmatic old photographs & embellished 3rd person stories, a few legal papers are all that remains.

  • I think it's pretty rare. It was helped by the fact my mother never threw anything away, including an awful lot of rubbish. It's hard work, these kind of things are the reward.

  • Wayyyyy Coool! Oh how fortunate you are Lor to be able to get to know your grandfather in this way. He wrote very well, I hope you find more worthy to share... This is all quite fascinating.

  • I think it's pretty cool too. Pleasing and unexpected. :)

  • ... Did he take his own life ? ...

  • What a bizarre question. No, he didn't. I wonder what made you imagine that.

  • ....I dunno ,, Maybe I just read more between the lines than is there.. For some reason that came to mind,, Tried to shrug it off but it stayed... So thought I may as well ask,,, Guess thats why I dont get invited to garden parties... :)

  • Maybe you imagined viewing life in such a way might be depressing. Believe me, it's anything but.

    To quote him:

All our opinions are governed by self.

  • Wisdom from decades past!

It seems that the apple does not fall far from the genetic tree.

Thanks for sharing the "Stray Thoughts" of Tom Turner. The thoughts that still have merit in 2009.

  • Indeed. More than a century later. Yet so few seem to make sense of them.
