We have been reopened for almost 2 years now and the place is amazing...3 of the 4 legendary bartenders are still there(Jerry, Mark, and Mike) and the food is better than ever. TRIVIA begins at 4:00pm sharp on Tuesdays.

Used to go here in the mid-80's while stationed at 32nd St Naval Base...you can see how they've built up all around it...it was kinda by itself then...

Still have my "seedy bar scene" Top Gun shirt...but am completely amazed at the "boring San Diego" comment...some people "can't see the forest for the trees" I guess...

This is my 1st time seeing this video. WOW. I am a bartender there and WE ARE REBUILDING. It should be open in a couple of weeks (before Thanksgiving. A GREAT thank you goes out to Martin and Cindy Blair for all their hard work in rebuilding this great landmark. We can't wait to open and start serving our great customers AGAIN. We are blessed as it will be better than ever in a few short weeks.

Wow, do they have a website? I'm a Kansas Citian, and I'm pretty sure it's actually not possible to get real KC BBQ in San Diego. (Not that there's anything wrong with that).
