Thank you so much for sharing this tribute. I lived in Baracoa for the first 3 years of my life then came to the US with my parents. I returned with my mother to visit family when I was 5. Even at that age I have many memories, although cloudy, of my visit. It's amazing how at such a young age I can remember special moments with family and friends. My family on my mothers side have a long history in that town. There are a few family members that still reside there. Our prayers are with all.
What a lovely tribute to what is just my absolute favourite place in Cuba !! I spent a week year in 2007 and did not want to leave ! I hope to go back one day and hope that all Baracoans overcome the distruction that Ike brought up it....

This is just beautiful. But what makes this video so memorable is the heart of its creator - a man who honors his family in this particular way - through his love for the two women who shaped his life, and the country that enriched it.
The funny thing about love, too, is that it never fails to touch other hearts. Love for family and love for country...that's what being Cuban is all about.
