  • Yes you can vap pure Glycerin. That would be 100% VG

  • vape pure glycerin and chew nic gum at the same time. i bet that's 100% safe. i just refilled my njoy gas station disposable cartridge with glycerin and it's like a dragons in my room. I want some concentrated nicotine.

  • lol,...oooook

  • bonanza.com/booths/wetcig

  • VG (glycerine) perfectly fine to vape on it's own, I use nicotine based VG(glycerine), flavour & plain pharmacy bought glycerine. Personally think it's a much smoother smoke nearer to regular cigarette hit. I still use PG (propylene glycol) & VG mixes to my own taste but haven't used PG (propylene glycol) on it's own since being noob. No probs with atomizers. VG is nice if you use menthol, fruit, sweet flavours, or mix I with PG for tobacco/cigarette flavours.

  • can we use glycron directly ????

  • @chaittanya1234 Well, I suppose you COULD but I would imagine it could create all kinds of problems with your atomizers and I wouldn't even want to know what it would taste like. I wouldn't do it.

  • Thanks for that hint ! Tomorrow, I´ll get some glycerine :)

  • Thanks man, cool. How about the in the next video you show us what cutting with NITRO-glycerin looks like?

  • So my question is where can I buy juice with the amounts of nicotine I want10% and no pg/vg? I haven't seen anyplace where I can buy it that way or in smaller bottles than 15mls. Is there somewhere I can get it mixed to my specifications and flavors?

  • Hello, good informative video.

I am on full time vapor now! For 20 years and 2 packs a day marlboro lights, been 7 days now since I had a tobacco cig!! Its really a great thing. Question for you, I have purchased 12 bottles of e-liquid all different flavors, and a variety of nicotine levels, now I need a good throat hit, and only a few of them give me that good hit. Now can I buy some of this glycerine and just mix it 50/50 with one of my flavored e-liquids for better hits?what about atty life?

  • Ah, lol you are so funny!!! well no more puke juice flavor!!!! puuuuuuuusssshhhhhtttt, LOL love it

  • dude the ring at 3:00 was sick, as it faded it encircled your face lol

  • You can get a 30ml e-liquid from Flavape for $17 USD... refills 100 cartridges

  • So, common sense would tell you that cutting the original nicotine laced liquid 50/50 with a liquid that does not contain nicotine would half the amount of nicotine you get per drag....... the next question is.... is that a good thing? or is that a bad thing?,,,,,,,,, I guess it would cut down on the nic hit but make your goods last twice as long......... go figure....

  • Vaping dries you out? I've been thinking it keeps me moisturized. I've noticed my cans of mountain dew are lasting HOURS longer since vaping.

  • Me too, and now i can drink more water cause i dont have to wash my mouth out with cola. E-Cigs FTW

  • Very nice...

  • cool vid thx!!

  • loved the fart noise!

  • What brand is your E-cig? I bought mine from Greensmoke and the drag does not last as long as yours.

  • lol, fart noise, and that one smoke ring was cool it came right at the cam...and one ? where can I get the cheapest e cig on the market if you know, Thanks hun :)

  • I was going to ask about the longer-lasting vapor. Does this mean that the non-smoker next to you is in the same boat as if you were smoking instead of vaping?

One good thing about e-cigs is that smokers and non-smokers can live in peace. I'd hate to see the peace destroyed by glycerin.

  • At this point, evidence shows that this is not the case. Tests of exhaled vapor indicate that <= 2% of the vapor is nicotine and the rest is primarily propylene glycol and water...Basically the same as a fog machine.

  • That's good to hear (well, read).

How about smell? Does it give the room that infamous "smoke-filled room" smell? Does it get into your clothes, your hair?

I know that regular vaping doesn't do that, and I suspect that this doesn't either, but I'd like to know for sure.

Again, thanks for answering my newbie questions.

  • No smell at all. At least, not any more than with regular vaping ;)

  • Cool. I think I will be getting this for my sister.

Unless I get it for my friend who SAYS she's quit. Her health is in trouble, and if she starts smoking again, she's getting an e-cig.

  • Have you tried smoking e-liquid in a Vapor Genie or a pipe? Y'know, cut it enough with glycerin (gel-like consistency) to keep it in place?

I'm not trying to come off as a dumbass. I'm just curious as to whether you could do so if your e-cig was broken.

    P.S. I don't smoke marijuana with my VG. I'm afraid of pound-me-in-the-ass prison. =P

  • lol you were probably high when you left this comment! lol

  • @furvert101 If I was stoned, I wouldn't of been worried about prison. =P

  • @terraphon vapin da green?

  • @Snipereye64 No chance.

  • @terraphon well when you said regular vaping, that was what i assumed

  • @SailorBarsoom I don't mean to sound rude in any way or start an ibattle, but vegetable glycerin is used in many food items and is made strictly from plant oils, it's not harmful..I believe propylene glycol is what the FDA is fussing over, but it's also in many foods we eat every day and as a compound itself is approved by the FDA, why are they trying to ban these? The carts/juices with nicotine are for those that want it, for those that don't. There are carts/juices without nicotine. Stupid FDA

  • @greeleykid

Glad you don't want to start that ibattle; neither do I. You will notice that my question was from a year ago. I was very new to this subject, I knew that I was frightfully ignorant, and I wanted to change that. So I asked some questions, maybe even some obvious newbie questions.

Now, a year later, I want to let vapers know that I am your best friend: I am a non-smoker who fully supports e-cigs. I think they should be allowed in restaurants, bars, strip clubs, airplanes, buses.

  • durned character limit

The reason for banning smoking in these places isn't that the site of a person sucking on a stick and blowing some cloudy substance out of his mouth and nose is offensive to non-smokers, but because non-smokers shouldn't have to breath somebody else's smoke, and shouldn't have to smell like the Marlboro Man.

Well, with e-cigs, be they glycerine, PG, or both, I don't have to breath it and I don't end up stinking. So vape away! and bless you.

  • Wow, same experience with the JC Puke Juice. It's horrible straight, but It's really pretty good at 1 part Puke Juice to 2 parts gycerine. It also does a great job flavoring unflavored e liquid at around 20 - 25%.

  • rofl i was not expecting that facial expression at 3:15

    haha very funny

  • Rob, you are by far my favorite reviewer. your facial expressions are always priceless

  • I wonder if he still buys JC puke juice? I like their Eppresso smoke juice but after hearing Robs review about JC's aftertaste I'm not.

  • I havent tried JC's stuff but my favorite right now is vapor country's coffee flavor. . tastes like baileys

  • pros of glycerine: adds a touch of sweetness (video calls it citrus). The sweetness can be nice touch.

Cons of glycerine: It does change the consistancy of the exhalled vapor. Makes it less like real smoke, more like a fog.

Another 'con' as the vid says, - the vapor hangs around longer - which means it draws MORE unwanted attention to public vaping.

I found this "lingering " a BIG negative.

When I'm in public and want a quick draw - what I DON'T want is a cloud of "smoke" following me around.

  • where can u cop glycerin?like is there a store that sells it i don't wanna get it online

  • One question I had about cutting with glycerin is does it lower the original flavor strength of the liquid, and if so, how much?

  • Yes it will reduce the flavor of the original juice, rationally. i.e. If you cut 50 : 50, you can expect the flavor to be only half as strong. Incidentally, most juices will take on a very slightly sweet undertone when cut with glycerin.

  • JC puke juice, lol

  • Where can you order the "Propoline Glycol"?

I'm kind of afraid of glycern ..I doubt if there have been any studies .

  • @bgabet10 a simple search on the net would fruit more information on the research of Glycerin than anyone can type here. A bit of advice, when on the world wide web, DONT make comments like:

" I'm kind of afraid of glycern ..I doubt if there have been any studies" It makes one assume you've done zero research, and have no intention of doing research.

Glycerin is indeed safe. More info? Where can you buy P.G.? Google, win.

  • Hey Terraphon, I just started mixing my own juice also due to this fabulous video. Question for you: I recently saw a thread on e-cig forum that says food grade glycerin can be dangerous. What do you know about this? Have you had any adverse affects from vaping with the glycerin? Thanks keep up the great work. I have viewed all your videos and you are very clear and concise in each step and I truly appreciate your efforts to educate and share with us.

  • This is what we know. Glycerin degrades into carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide when it is superheated...problem is that we don't know what "superheated" means, in this context...we don't have a measurement. I haven't had ANY adverse effects from using glycerin, though, and don't know anyone who has. I do, however, have a quart of PG on the way to me and will be making a 3-way comparison when I get it ;)

  • Thank You, I got tired of the high cartridge from Njoy running out, and it is still mild. I ordered the 36mg, so I guess I will be up there with the big dogs.

    Thanks again (L)

  • Thanks for the lesson, it will serve me well. I got so many Bunk E-liquids until someone pointed me in the direction of Totally wicked E-liquids, I am expecting the shipment any day now. What E-liquid is your favorite?

  • Right now my 2 favorites are e-smokeytreats 36mg regular, cut to 18mg and Totally Wicked Marlboro 24mg cut to 18mg.

    They're both awesome.

  • I've just ordered the 36mg TW Marlboro, i hope the stronger nic does not damage the flavour in any way from the 24mg, i dont know as i haven't used 36mg before but been told it does affect the flavour.

I was going to get some glycerine for cutting but now plan to stick with whats in the juice i use already and get some PG off ebay.

  • Either one works fine. I got glycerin because it was easy but I'm going to pick up some PG, as well...Once I do I'll probably do a head to head comparison of the two.

  • same question here couldn't find that kind of glycerin in walmart, cvs, or walgreens. can you guys let us know where you get it?

    Thanks

  • if you hit walgreens and go to the...get this...cosmetics section...Ask them for the glycerin "USP emolient". It's 99.9% vegetable glycerin (USP GRADE) and is what I used, here. It comes in a 4 ounce brown bottle. Otherwise you can hit any health market (like Sprouts) and find it there. Sprouts carries a brand called "Heritage". Good luck and happy vaping!

  • Thanks for the help Rob - I have to say its interesting. for the last couple of days I have been cutting it with honey, Yep. Man it is good and it takes away the dry mouth. give it a try and let us know - 65 - 35 mix. The smell and the taste are AWESOME!!

  • hmmm...I may try that...I'm curious, though, about the breakdown of the honey under temperature. I'll have to see if it caramelizes...If so, I won't put it in my atomizer because it will ruin them.

  • so far no problem with the atomizer - I will let you know in a week or so. I read that glycerin or honey are used in hookah - honey for the expensive stuff and that's where I got the idea.

I am wondering why you took off your Totally Wicked review? I would love to know what do you prefer Totally Wicked VS e-smokeytreats?

I only vap 36mg straight or cut it to 25-28, I need a strong throat hit or it doesn't do me any good

  • Actually, the totally wicked review is and has been on google video. It was too long to fit into youtube's 10 minute limit so...It can be found on ECF, though.

  • Hey T,

Just wondering, where do you get the glycerin??

I've just ordered 2 e-ciggs and juice, haven't even tried one yet but looking forward to it. Trying to get informed before they show up! The glycerin sounds like a good idea.... :)

    Thanks for the vid!

  • Thanks for the Vid. I just bought the pre mixed from TW, cant wait to try it. But I am trying to learn how to mix safely without making myself sick. So thanks. So what is it that gives the hit in the throat, the E-juice or teh glycerin? Sorry still learning.

I just bought the Njoy about 45 days ago and could not be happier. Glad there is no more tobacco after 29 years. Did a review on You tube because I waas so impressed, yet disappointed in the scammers. Aloha Happy Vaping

    Lorraine

  • Hi Lorraine. It seems like the throat hit comes from a combination of the juice and the glycerine. More nicotine produces a notably higher throat hit but there's also some chemistry involved. We know, for example, that the higher a liquid's pH is (more basic, less acidic) the more throat hit it gives...Glycerin does add to the fullness of the vapor and increases the hit a bit. Good luck and happy vaping!

  • Lol. I remember that little conversation we had on ecigforum about the JC Original flavor. So the glycerine removes the funky flavor? Sounds good to me. I've gotta try it.

  • yeah, it cuts it pretty well. I still don't trust JC juice, though...too much funky stuff being repored.

  • I hear ya there. I wouldn't vape anything that turned green.

  • Good video man! I cut 60% ejuice (24mg) with 40% glycerin for a slightly bigger hit. Have you tried just glycerin? Its not too bad, nice and sweet, barring theres no nicotine of course lol

  • I have tried straight glycerin, in fact. It's...odd...

  • Thanks for the video. I just joined the forum and havefound all your videos to be quite helpful.

  • Glad I can help, Monkey. If you ever have any questions, drop me a line.
