In all countries in the world that have English as their national language (apart from Northern American countries) say 'chewsday'. The same with 'tune' 'tuba' or 'tutor': tu = chu. Also du = dyu eg due duration etc.

In English (ie, in England), it's properly pronounced like 'tyoosday', but this is usually softened to 'choosday'.

Where I live, the "str's" at the beginning of words aren't so. For instance: I say "schtreet", and "schtripes", and... "schtrike", and so on. It took me months of practice to be able to say "stripes" in the Star Spangled Banner for choir without focusing or faltering... poo
