  • worst ever

  • What did you expect? If you have ridden MOAB you would know it isn't all about the riding because the riding isn't that great. It's about the experience in an amazing place with friends. Stay positive and maybe you too will get to experience a trip to Moab someday with friends as great as mine. It's worth it.

  • Worst ever? Pretty strong response to a mellow recapitulation of what was an incredible trip. Of course there are pros and groms whose ability to go huge will never be matched by us, but I defy anyone to prove they have had a better time with a better group of friends. For many of us it is about the time spent together in beautiful places enjoying both challenge and awe inspiring grandeur. Maybe, just maybe, as the title of Armstrong's book states, "It''s not about the bike".

  • pretty bland...everything

  • I hope you are able to ride Moab someday for 7 days straight and you will understand that many of the days get mellow and the riding is mellow. It's about the place your in and not the riding you get to do. It's a great experience even if it doesn't translate to great video. Stay positive!

  • actualy i will be there for a week in november...

  • I would recommend you ride LPS or Lower porcupine singletrack. My favorite trail right now until we find a better one. It is fun to car drop and ride LPS to porcupine rim. That is a long downhill that you can flow! Stop in and ask a shop how to find the LPS entrance. I have been to Moab in 2003, 2005, and 2007. I will be going again in 2009. Let me know if your wondering about a trail and I may have ridden it.

  • Probably my favorite segment, and the day on Amasa Back, one of my favorite days in Moab. The music for the Amasa Back ride is perfect and captures the mood of the day and grandeur of the setting.

The no longer extant gap on Bartlett Wash, and Jeff facing down the Potty Bowl. That was a fun trip. It will be fun to see what it is like with new skills and perspectives in '09!

  • Thanks for posting this segment especially. That day on Amasaback was one of my favorite days ever in Moab, and the way you matched the footage and music to convey the mellowness of the outing and the grandeur of the setting is spot on. Heightens the memory.

The gaps on Bartlett Wash, not possible any more. Jeff and the Potty Bowl. Great memories all. Thanks for putting the vid together Space!
