Dude, there wasent eney Paratroopers on the beach. They were morelike 20 miles away to stop german reenforcements from comming and counter attaking. It helped the allies alot but not enuff there was still germans hiding and wating for advsing american troops.

Ummmm.... this isn't what happened in Neptune. First of all, this is D-day, second of all, they're supposed to be fighting Italians, not Germans. It's a good video, but it just isn't very accurate.

@bookpig247 I have no idea what you are talking about. Operation Neptune was the codename for the Operation that the Americans took part in when they planned to attack France in 1944. It was changed after the battle to Operation Overlord, so either of those two terms are correct. Operation Husky was when the Americans (I believe the British as well) attacked Sicily mainly through the use of Paratroopers. There were other Operations that occurred in Italy, but I think you are speaking of this.

@wickedsonic1 It's hard to explain, but if you look at them, there are notches on the side of the base. If you pop those notches into the holes on the side of the flame, then they will link together. If you don't understand, I could do a how-to further on explaining some stuff like that, but it won't be for a while.

And the planes took of maybe a pair of hours before the soldiers landed on Omaha,Juno,Sword and the three others which i dont remember the name of...
