Im a n00b with sai, so when you are drawing the sketching part, how do you select an area and enlarge it? Like, if the proportians are a bit off and you need to make the legs small or something, how do i do it?! D:

@Razberry52 There's a select tool above the normal tools. It looks like a dotted square. Select the area you want to enlarge/shrink then tick Transform at the bottom.

If you mean highlight - it is layer with "Luminosity" mode.

when you do the shading, how do you keep the colours of the shading from overlapping the other colours? Like how did you keep the shadow colour of the hair from painting over the skin, yet staying in the lines of the hair?

when you use a tablet, does the screen show on the tablet or is it guesswork to tell where your pointer goes?

Its guess work depending on what tablet you get, The small ones are easier to use. The big ones (with the screens) are much harder, if you are considering getting a tablet, smallest=easiest

i dont agree, cuz the bamboo in intuos have no screen, it almost feels like ur doing a contour line drawing, well at least to me that is.

it depends on which kind u get. the bamboo and the intuos models dont, The Cintiq 12wx and cintiq 21 ux both have screens. But keep in mind the bamboo and intuos are both $100. While the cintiq 12wx is 1000, this is the one im saving up for. and the 21 ux is 2000.

actually, i have found it helpful to make a sketch on paper then to do it on the tablet overtop the sketch paper, assuming the tablet is a pen-tip sensor type.

Curve tool appears when you working in Linework layer (Layer->New Linework Layer)
