What this video conveniently fails to mention is that batteries need to be produced, too. Using rare earth metals. Which are very finite. And only found in a few places, and export restrictions are already in place. In other words, purely electric cars are a dead-end road. Which is a pity, because this is a nice car, but we'll be looking at hydrogen before long.

It was a lot of fun driving the "Think City" up to Tryvann, but the coolest thing is to be able to drive in the bus/taxi lane during rush hours and quietly cruise passed all the petrol cars standing still! :)
