And end of series yusuke is about 20 times stronger than sensui.
Have dbz characters ever shown the strength to destroy a mountain with the after-effect of normal punches? didn't think so, still dbz wins because of speed and insane energy-projection, but not many dbz characters would go away unharmed after a punch in the face by Yusuke at the end of series.

When freeza transform in final 100% form, the sky turned black. Toguro did the same thing in tournament. Another ripoff idea haha then when toguro nearly killed kwabara, it angers yusuke and summons his true power given by master genkai. It is copied from DBZ when cell stepped on Android 16's head and it angers gohan

At the end of Z series, Goku already achieved Super saiyan 3, he and Kid Buu are trading punches and they can destroy mountains with ease too. Besides GOKU CAN FLY while yusuke or sensui or yomi or raizen or mokuro can only jump high but they can't fly. I don't think that Goku will die in yusuke's punch, Goku will just block it since goku is faster than yusuke

DBZ is the most overrated anime ever. i admit, i like it, but it is very far from being as good as Yu Yu Hakusho. Same story every saga. A new alien type of creature comes to take over the world & all the Z fighters fight them but lose, then Goku comes to save the day with the spirit bomb EVERY TIME. All the powers are very alike, just laser & shining explosion types of moves for each character which vary in colors. There are no elements whatsoever. So it goes YYH, Naruto, then DBZ
Ok let me break this down: Yu Yu Hakusho had a decent amount of episodes, changed fighting types, actually had a different goal in each saga. Naruto pretty much the same except it has way too many episodes & the fighting changes but stays sort of the same & the goals are similar but it does have a good attribute of different kinds of powers & keeping most of the characters different. Both Naruto & YYH actually give each character a time to shine, DBZ however, does not. . .off to another comment
All I have to say is that is that it goes by seniority. Why? Because they are all have components from the show before them. Yuyu Hakusho came before Dragonball. Believe it or not Dragonball had quite a number of spoofs and similarities to Yuyu Hakusho.Same with Naruto to Dragonball. I love Dragonball but I think Yuyu Hakusho wins this battle because Naruto and Dragonball use components from it. So it's like your asking, "Which is better? Yuyu Hakusho, or Yuyu Hakusho?"
@tacoslave2012 I don't know if you know this but Dragonball came out in the 80's while YYH didn't exist in that time because it came out in the 90's. Look up when their mangas were released. You have to realize the mangas and even the anime of dragonball came before yyh where did you hear such a thing? Also Naruto has absolutely no influence from YYH possibly little but the maker of naruto admitted his influence from the maker of dragonball.

DBZ was the show I grew up with, I had all the games going from Budokai1 all the way to raging blast 2(yes I bought every yearly DBZ game for 8years straight) even collecting the box sets now but around february of this year I saw the entire Yu Yu Hakusho series (back on toonami i only saw like 2 episodes) and collected all 4 box sets and I have never seen anything greater than it. The story, fights,music,characters and even character development were just flawless.A true masterpiece. Yu Yu wins

You can say Naruto and YYH having better characters or whatever, but there's one thing you can't argue. That the main characters of DBZ are stronger. It's a fact. SS4 Goku and SS4 Vegeta both are capable of easily destroying multiple solar systems. Let me put this into perspective. The average human power level is 5. Extremely skilled humans capable of putting everything into a blast and destroying a MOON average about 100. SS4 Goku's power level is estimated around 600,000,000,000. 600 billion.
And to think these weren't even their maxed states of power! I love the action scene's chosen and the music really does work. The quality was a little low in parts...but that's overlook-able due to the freakin sheer awesomness! I'm honestly not a Naruto fan, but that was my fave part s chosen XP and Yusuke XD Hard to say your counting on how many deaths considering you wouldn't have the show if he hadn't died to start with in the first episode! DBZ... Nough said. It's hard to choose really win!
Dragon Ball &Z in my opinion is the definative shonen anime,Yu Yu hakusho is more plot driven and deep,Naruto had potentail to be good in the original but,fucks up horribly in shippuden.

@Youkickmydog1988 There's character development in DBZ? The only character who ever changes is Vegeta from bad to good, even though he's constantly making things harder like letting Cell transform. It's bad writing, personally I think the story ended after Frieza, then it just became bad guy appears out of nowhere > Vegeta gets cocky then gets his ass kicked > badguy dies > repeat. I like DBZ, but I watched it more for the epic fights than anything else. SSj3 is still my favorite anime moment.

@MIXEDHUSTLA dbz's story is different from other anime, yes it has the save the day good vs. evil story, but they delivered the story clearly different from other anime's, but naruto's story like u said unpredictable has been used in many anime's in the new generations....they may have different stories but the way they deliver their plot holes is just the same in other anime...

Like someone pointed out look at Vegeta's character development, future trunks, etc. The plot for Naruto after part 1 becomes a gay romance between naruto and sasuke. Naruto is extremely overrated . I do agree that YYH was underrated. Its one of best along with DB and Cowboy Bebop.

@Pharmit24 YU YU HAKUSHO! its not too long or too short. The greatest anime I have ever seen. watch the first 5 episodes atleast if u wanna get into it. The series has excellent story telling, amazing fast paces martial arts fights, characters you'll get attatched to until the credits on the very last episode. There is no flaw with that series. A true example of what an anime should be.
lol, Naruto is for kids who have fetishes with the characters and rips off some of the older anime. In my opinion I would prefer Yu Yu Hakusho than Dragon Ball Z mainly because it keeps a fast past and doesn't stay on a single topic too long(like having a fight last several episodes), though it's pretty cliche when the character will have a moment to strike but just stands there.

Also, it would make more sense for Minato to fight Krillin during his prime in the series. imo YYH chars dwarfs dbz chars in pure physical strength.
Sensui casually destroyed a mesa that was many times bigger than a mountain with a SHOCKWAVE of his punch, just take a fucking second and try to grasp how devastating a direct hit would be.
Try to kill an ant with a shockwave of your punch, and the ant isn't even fazed. hit it with a direct hit and you could smash hundreds.
And end of series yusuke is about 20 times stronger than sensui.

When freeza transform in final 100% form, the sky turned black. Toguro did the same thing in tournament. Another ripoff idea haha then when toguro nearly killed kwabara, it angers yusuke and summons his true power given by master genkai. At the end of Z series, Goku already achieved Super saiyan 3, he and Kid Buu are trading punches and they can destroy mountains with ease too. Besides GOKU CAN FLY while yusuke or sensui or yomi or raizen or mokuro can only jump high but they can't fly. I don't think that Goku will die in yusuke's punch, Goku will just block it since goku is faster than yusuke

DBZ is the most overrated anime ever. i admit, i like it, but it is very far from being as good as Yu Yu Hakusho. Same story every saga. A new alien type of creature comes to take over the world & all the Z fighters fight them but lose, then Goku comes to save the day with the spirit bomb EVERY TIME. All the powers are very alike, just laser & shining explosion types of moves for each character which vary in colors. There are no elements whatsoever. So it goes YYH, Naruto, then DBZ

Ok let me break this down: Yu Yu Hakusho had a decent amount of episodes, changed fighting types, actually had a different goal in each saga. Naruto pretty much the same except it has way too many episodes & the fighting changes but stays sort of the same & the goals are similar but it does have a good attribute of different kinds of powers & keeping most of the characters different. Both Naruto & YYH actually give each character a time to shine, DBZ however, does not. . .off to another comment

All I have to say is that is that it goes by seniority. Why? Because they are all have components from the show before them. Yuyu Hakusho came before Dragonball. Believe it or not Dragonball had quite a number of spoofs and similarities to Yuyu Hakusho.Same with Naruto to Dragonball. I love Dragonball but I think Yuyu Hakusho wins this battle because Naruto and Dragonball use components from it. So it's like your asking, "Which is better? Yuyu Hakusho, or Yuyu Hakusho?"

DBZ was the show I grew up with, I had all the games going from Budokai1 all the way to raging blast 2(yes I bought every yearly DBZ game for 8years straight) even collecting the box sets now but around february of this year I saw the entire Yu Yu Hakusho series (back on toonami i only saw like 2 episodes) and collected all 4 box sets and I have never seen anything greater than it. The story, fights,music,characters and even character development were just flawless.A true masterpiece. Yu Yu wins

You can say Naruto and YYH having better characters or whatever, but there's one thing you can't argue. That the main characters of DBZ are stronger. It's a fact. SS4 Goku and SS4 Vegeta both are capable of easily destroying multiple solar systems. Let me put this into perspective. The average human power level is 5. The quality was a little low in parts...but that's overlook-able due to the freakin sheer awesomness! I'm honestly not a Naruto fan, but that was my fave part s chosen XP and Yusuke XD Hard to say your counting on how many deaths considering you wouldn't have the show if he hadn't died to start with in the first episode! @Youkickmydog1988 There's character development in DBZ? The only character who ever changes is Vegeta from bad to good, even though he's constantly making things harder like letting Cell transform. It's bad writing, personally I think the story ended after Frieza, then it just became bad guy appears out of nowhere > Vegeta gets cocky then gets his ass kicked > badguy dies > repeat. I like DBZ, but I watched it more for the epic fights than anything else. SSj3 is still my favorite anime moment.

@wbrodie55 Your making excuses for dbz since you put forth that i only watch dbz fight youtube video for a way to disprove anything i say isn't right .I haven't read any of DBZ manga this discussions is purely about the anime lets be real when people bring up what is a better show there like o you cant forget about that manga. Yu Yu is underrated it has amazing reviews if you compared it with DBZ fan base it would overwhelm it by 50 times & most kids have never heard of it.

@Pharmit24 YU YU HAKUSHO! its not too long or too short. The greatest anime I have ever seen. watch the first 5 episodes atleast if u wanna get into it. The series has excellent story telling, amazing fast paces martial arts fights, characters you'll get attatched to until the credits on the very last episode. There is no flaw with that series. A true example of what an anime should be.

lol, Naruto is for kids who have fetishes with the characters and rips off some of the older anime. In my opinion I would prefer Yu Yu Hakusho than Dragon Ball Z mainly because it keeps a fast past and doesn't stay on a single topic too long(like having a fight last several episodes), though it's pretty cliche when the character will have a moment to strike but just stands there.

I keep seeing people say Yu Yu Hakusho can compete, but I wouldn't really know because I never finished watching the series.

@AndreiSfirleaDragomi Both of your comments are pretty irrelevant. We're not talking about other anime against DBZ aside from the two mentioned in the video's title. Also, it would make more sense for Minato to fight Krillin during his prime in the series. It would be stupid for one character to fight the other character when they're 20 years younger and haven't even reached half of their full strength yet.

@AndreiSfirleaDragomi You do know that Krillin and Master Roshi did a minute's worth of fighting in one second, right? And that was back during the World Martial Arts Tournament in Dragonball. Minato may be able to teleport with his kunai but, Krillin is all around WAY faster. Oh, and no. Even if he managed to lay a finger on Goku, it will only take one hit for Goku to destroy him. Remember what Gohan did to the Cell Jrs? Yeah, that's the result of DBZ vs Naruto.
