Comedian Michael Jr. on Community College Students

I went straight to a flagship state research University after high school doing engineering.

What I go in return for 25000 dollars was 300 student lecture halls with professors who were not teachers and TA's from foreign countries. I realized after my first year that most of the kids there were foreigners and that the whole school sucks ass.

Now I'm in my community college for free on scholarship, getting first class teaching and enjoying life more looking to go to a private school.

All my friends who stayed at university are going to be unemployed because they don't accomplish anything there but take out loans to party and play xbox.

My friend's mom did community college and transferred for an accounting degree and had a job before graduation with a company car.

But it's watered-down, too easy and basically a US government plot to segregate the poor students from the opportunities had by the richer students at 4 year schools, and also to make 4 year schools more expensive by subsidizing the cheaper community colleges. You are lucky to be living in the UK where they don't have them.

Oh yeah. I was like that. a year ago, explaining that I was intending to transfer to a university. What was worse was last semester when I wasn't even in school, and I was explaining to people that I was taking a semester off to figure out what I wanted to do as a career so I didn't waste any more money on classes that I couldn't use. I'm so glad that now I can just answer, "TTU."

I like community colleges are great :] cheaper classes and smaller class sizes. It makes discussion a bit better. Some 4 year unis are smaller than some community colleges. Which I like...I hate just being a random name in a room full of hundreds. Not a fan of not being remembered by the end of the year...

Sorry man this joke is both hilarious and totally true. It's not saying Community college is bad, but it is not as prestigious as a full fledged University and a lot of people do explain away the fact that they are going to one.
