  • Contrary to what everyone else on here is saying haha, I love this commercial. My mom is a nurse and she has been one for 35 years. She's a great lady and this commercial makes me feel so much pride for her. I'm glad Johnson and Johnson are funding a campaign for nurses. Some of the true unsung heroes in our society.

  • Love it

  • Nurses save you for being killed from DOCTORS.............

  • skip to :24 to go to the real reason ur on this video

  • I LOVE THE END!

  • YOURRRRRRRRRE A NURSE, YOU MAKE NO DIFFERENCE! YOU'RE NOT A DOCTOR!

  • @renthead5256 JACKASS

  • my mom and I always sing the end part at each other. It never gets old. >:][

  • @SylentJudge

4 real i thought the EXACT sam thing. it sounds like a dude and then on the last syllabl it changes 2 a lady lol!!!!!

  • seconds

  • how bout that turkey trot? ehh ehhh? .08

  • That song always makes me think it was written by somebody at Saturday Night Live.

  • I have told my sister, a nurse, about this and she's never seen it. It's so stupid!

  • As a paramedic I have a great deal of respect for the nursing profession. However in this commercial all of the senerios that they show are actually paramedic jobs. Only the one of the baby in the nursery is truely a nursing environment. I have done some research and found that nationally on .1% (that's 1/10th of a percent) of prehospital responces are done by RN's (PHRN's included.) And people wonder why EMS is a career is suffering more every year. Thanks to commercials like this.

  • I bet this woke up a million people after the dramatic "Yooooooouure a Nurse"... couldnt stop laughing for about 15 minutes after i saw this.. glad I'm not the only who thinks this is funny

  • Idk why but when the song comes on it definitely sounds like a dude but towards the end it sounds smack like a chick

  • @jdlundeen

EMTs and Paramedics have to pass there National Registry test. Many co-workers belong to the NAEMT, which is the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians. There are also many other organizations that work to improve protocols and standards such as the IAFF, DOT, and NFPA just to name a few. Many paramedics do hold a AAS in paramedicine, like myself, and wish to further our education we can choose to in Emergency Management. As a paramedic I do more skills than nurses

  • corniest.commercial.ever

  • i am a paramedic which means i actually think for myself

  • nurses focus more on med surge and lab values while paramedics focus on cardiology and advanced airway management, please guys give credit to those who actually save lives like paramedics and doctors,

  • @medicaltranseint I bet you ride shotgun in the waahhmbulance! Get over yourself! It's just a commercial.

  • @u2bdetox , i do ride shotgun bitch

  • @medicaltranseint You're saying you ride bitch, too? Or am I a bitch? Wow. Why do I have to be a bitch? "You're a bitch! You make a difffference!" lol

  • as a paramedic this pisses me off, please someone sympathize with me, these ass holes at johnson and johnson are going to get a nasty letter from me. nurses are like monkeys who actually make almost no decisions and cannot act until their puppet masters write the orders, the difference is nurses make 30$ an hour while paramedics make 12 - 18$ and perform may more advanced procedures without the MD orders, both are a 2 year degree,

  • lmao. i'm so glad i'm not the only one who finds the song at the end absolutely hilarious.

  • OMGosh...you all are my people! I thought I was the only one that sang this stupid song every time the commercial came on.

  • OMGosh...you all are my people! I thought I was the only one that sang this stupid song every time the commercial came on. We are all kindred spirits.

  • Just saw this on TV...and all I can say to it is....WHAT! "YOU'RE A NURSE!!" LOL

  • Just saw this on TV for the first time. Had to instantly youtube it so I could replay the hilarity.

  • Dude I had to run to this commerical online to see if I was the only one who was dying laughing at the "you're a nurse, you make a diffrence" part...good to know I'm not

  • Please buy more ad time Johnson and Johnson. This never gets old.

  • lol im SO happy that i'm not the only one who laughs at this commercial. YOOOOREEE A NURSEEEE YOU MAKE A DEEIEYYEIEFERENCE! LOL

  • nurses dont work in the field on ambulances and they shouldnt show that. if thats what people want to do then they want to be a Paramedic.

  • thats the best ending to any commercial.

  • Nothing against nurses, we have 2 in our family, but since when do nurses work on ambulances or in the field? Isn't that what Paramedics and EMT's do? As far as I know Emergency medicine (EMT/Paramedic) training is not part of RN training. I believe Johnson & Johnson needs to stop promoting RN's in the field. It is very misleading!

  • YOU'RE A NURSE

  • Lol I laughed for 2 minutes straight when I heard that song ^^ my mom was lagging at me ha ha u should make that into a ring tone

  • HAHAHAHAHA YouUUUUU'RE a NURSE...... YOU MAKE A DIIIIIFERENCE. So dramatic lol

  • that's my teacher! love her.

  • I wish there was a full song. Reminds me a lot of the tv show themes from 90's.

  • So, wait, like...Nurses are omnipotent and all-powerful??!

  • hahahahaha I sould make that my ringtone

  • AHAHA ARE YOU KIDDING

  • There actually is a guy nurse in the ad at second 21. I hope its a guy anyway. Thank you to all caring nurses

  • Best. Jingle. EVER! Oh gosh it's just hilarious...

  • This commercial cracks me up! the jingle is terrible! ahahahhaaa

my mum is a nurse, i sing it to her all the time now!

  • This add blows, from my studies the jingle should read...

Your a mat, doing a shit job

    for rich peopleeee.

The only diffrence is that of your paycheck and of the phantom hospital owners.

  • Hey Ricksterical...Interesting comment you make! I always thought although I have not made up my mind that being an RN as a guy would be a really interesting field to get into and understand what your saying ! Would it be fair to air commercials that promote the idea that all emt's & paramedics be referred to solely as males ?? I think not ! It's totally cool guys are getting into being RN's and I'm still seriously considering it as a career goal !

  • TO ALL THE HATERS:

I'm laughing my way to the bank every time it plays!!

(I'm a RN in the Commercial) GO NURSING!! IT"S A WONDERFUL PROFESSION FULL OF MANY OPPORTUNITIES!!!!

    "You're a Nurse, You make a Difference!!!!"....CHA CHING!!!!

  • @bostprep

Nurses don't work in the field what a load of shit, I've been a paramedic for several years and I know this for a fact, This commercial is an insult to real EMS professionals; nurses are not trained nor are they allowed in most states to work in the field, (With the exception of critical care transports.) Nurses, please stay inside your little offices and hospitals while the puppet master pulls your strings, let the real heroes work out in the trenches.

  • @rbrown61611 nurses only work in EMS when doing some neonate transports or an MCI. Sometimes they do first respond to wrecks but their prehospital EMS skills are sometimes rusty. They're better than nothing but I've had CPR classes with nursing students. Oh and remember the nurse's association in California opposed the Wedworth-Townshend bill that created "Johnny and Roy" in 1970.

  • Comedy Gold.

I love how the first scene shows a nurse working in an ambulance.

  • I luv this theme song from this commercial! HOT!

    -The Kilam Group, LLC

  • YOU'RE A NURSE

  • Whenever this comes on TV, I always belt out with the guy at the end: YOUUUUUUUU'RE A NURSE....YOU MAKE A DIIYIYIYIYIYfrence.

  • @shurite hhahaha i kno mee tooo!

  • @shurite my sister sings this all the time to make me laugh!!!!

so... your comment cracked me up for about a half an hour♥

  • Your'e a nurse, and you make a diffeerrrreennncee

essentially ruined the commercial which is very important considering the nursing shortage

  • Nope, close your eyes and sing it louder with mo'passion!!!!!

    roflmfao

  • I feel bad that this commercial didn't inspire more people. I'm a nursing student and I have wonderful instructors who have changed my life. They are my friends and they Inspire me to help people. A nurse made a difference in my family's life when I was a child. My sister is now an ER nurse who loves her job and she saves lives. Maybe the people who leave bad comments have just gone to the wrong nursing school or are in the wrong profession!

  • I feel you - punch JJ in the face for getting that temptations reject from 86' belting his heart out.

We are so distracted with that stupid man singing. Ask Siemens about stupid music in their commercials

  • I just saw this on tv, and I 'm so glad it's on here... because I couldn't stop laughing at the overly emotional lyrics at the end. man.

  • my sister-in-law is in this commercial, and nurses are awesome!

  • Well can she kick that man or the director and quickly stitch them? this song is foolish.

Nurses are bomb, don't get me wrong - My mother has been one all my life - but she agrees they are foolish on this commercial

  • alright, first they say, "your a nurse" then what do tehy say?

  • dont fall for this J&J bullshit, nursing sucks, talk to real bedside nurses to get the real story not the jackasses that make slick ads for u tube, shortages happen for a reason!

bedside RNs want the fuck out

  • preach it!

Yes- I am a nurse and I got the fuck out for a reason... this is all jargon...

  • I believe thats a man singing yourrrreeee a nurse, you make the difffference.

Dare I say best jingle of all time?

  • the best, hunny the best.

He brought all the aspects of Kenny Loggins and some jheri curl wearing sanger from another time...

THANK YOU POSTER - PEOPLE DIDNT BELIEVE THE FOOLISHNESS WHEN I TOLD THEM ABOUT THIS SONG

  • Yeah my mom wants to know who sings the end, too. She's a nurse as well =)

  • I just love the voice of the woman who sings "Your a nurse. You make a difference!!!" Who is she??? She rocks!!! I can't get this song out of my head:)

  • hahaha - great music at the end! South Park~

  • this is a clearly thinly veiled NAMBLA plot

  • I love this commercial-it's so true! I had great nursing instructors who I appreciate and will never forget.

  • the first nurse they show is my friend's mom!!!

  • Just to clarify for cruberry. I AM NOT AN ACTOR and the RN is not a paramedic! He is a RN masking a patient in an ambulance. And in real life, I am Registered Nurse, in fact pursuing my MA in Nurse Anesthesia.

  • I love this video. I am currently working toward my nurse educator. No cruberry, it is not trying to impress people, it is trying to send a message that through one person, many lives can be touched, the student nurse, the people the nurse helps and the community when in need through the actions of other nurses. Be professional and go Nursing!

  • Is it so difficult to impress people with the nursing profession that you have to portray them in the role of a paramedic? The only accurate portrayal in this piece is how poorly she delivers BVM ventilations.

  • Cut the PhD RN in the commercial a break- she may have been demonstrating the incorrect BMV technique to prove a point.
