Wow!! This was informative and good to hear no racial or religious slurs, etc. Now I can sort of see why women were shielded from the harsh (but beautiful) environment of the desert life. @zsll thats a good ideology but i think ahl-ul-sunnah should be regarded, the only thing it is, is following the same life as the prophet p.b.u.h using sahih (strong) hadith, the prophet p.b.u.h himself said the best are those who are present with him durning his time then those present with the next and next and so on meaning looking at the ahl-ul-sunnah is just trying to deal with life using the mentality of the prophet p.b.u.h :)

The bigger question is what do you mean by "Muslim"? Everything needs to be defined, framed, to be understood. To "define" literally means to "set limits", which implies that it is possible to step beyond those "limits" and become something "other". If "Islam" was not defined, if it didn't have limits, it'd would be an entirely vacuous and meaningless ghost, always meaning what one individual wants it to mean. That, I think, is a recipe for true factionalism.
